I like the location and access to the lint trap on my older ge dryer more than. The newer one because it's more visible and my family forgot alot less to clean the old lint trap. Ther than that the newer dryer is superior.

Stopped working after 5 hours use

We bought this dryer exactly one week ago. We knew we only had 48 hours to check it out to make sure that it was okay. So in 48 hours we probably used it 5 hours to do all the laundry. One week later we go to dry our laundry again. We turn it on and it only stays on about 5 minutes shuts off never to run again. WE WANT A REPLACEMENT. We don't want to start working on a brand new dryer that is only one week old out of the box. PLEASE REPLACE THIS LEMON.

Very happy with the size and quiet process. My first load came out wonderful. I prefer all GE products never disappointed. So many features and the cost effective!

Works great, buzzer on loudest setting is great as dryer is in garage. Lint trap could be a bit sturdier.
