Great dryer...but problem with the center control

I like my new GE Dryer. It is very user friendly. However I am having a problem with the large flat center mode control knob. It is very hard to turn and I am getting a very sore wrist. My husband also said it is hard to turn. I was wondering if there is another knob that can be used to replace this one. It would be better if this knob had a raised center to hold onto like the knobs on my GE Stove. I've had all GE appliances for the last 50 years and this is the first time I have had a problem. My wrist is getting very sore and I gave the dryer four stars because of this knob.

Poor performance-1 yr later not working at all.

The door sticks, it takes two cycles to dry, and now the start button isn't working. Very unhappy about this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
