I really love this dryer. It’s fairly quiet, smooth drives well buttons are easy to maneuver, and the lint vent is very easy to pop in and out and empty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far, so good. We knew we were not buying a high-end dryer, so we are satisifed that it works as it should and looks fine. It does have a flat surface on top, so that helps with folding laundry. The reason for the 4 star rating is that in spite of having the exhaust hose properly fitted and strapped in place, the dryer kicks more heat into the laundry space than we like.

Super happy with this GE dryer. It is a quiet when running, offers several drying options, and has a sensor which aids in drying time. Totally pleased with purchase.

Does what it needs to do. I wish the light could be turned on/off when the door is left open. I also wish the door had a better closing mechanism, feels a little flimsy but it still works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
