I've had this dryer for over a month and I really enjoy how quiet it is and how well it dries large loads. Great product!

Not as Good as GE Profile Dryer

I bought the set on Jan. 10, 2018. Upon delivery, there was a large dent in the door which was replaced within 3 days. I noticed that on the 1st time using, the dryer sensors do not work. The dial does not move from the start position to the off position and just stays in the starting position through all cycles with the exception of the timed dry cycle. I have the one with low to high settings for the buzzer, but the buzzer only works with the setting at half way which is super loud. The only thing it does do is dry the clothes if you run it long enough which is too long. My GE Profile dryer was 20 years old and still working perfectly when I bought this one. I should have kept it. When asked why I chose GE Products I answered Quality, because I have never owned anything but GE, but they are losing there quality by adding so many gadgets, sensors, music, etc... to their products. Too many things that can go wrong. GE needs to stick to the old tried and true technology and keep things simple. Leave control of these machines in the hands of the customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Drys clothes in less time than old dryer.

Fast drying

This dryer drum is huge compared to my old dryer. I love the loud buzzer when the cycle has ended, I can hear it anywhere in the house. I like that you can adjust the loudness of the buzzer as well.
It doesn't take long for the items in the dryer to dry and I like the extended tumble.
I also like where the lint vent is, it's easy to access and clean out the lint.
I also like the light inside the dryer, I can see what is in the dryer and if I missed anything.

New Dryer

I had my old GE dryer for a long time(at least 10 years). I like my new dryer but it does not heat as well as my old one did. Takes longer to dry towels, jeans,etc. I like the features on it however.
I would recommend this to a friend!
