It is a dryer!

I purchased this dryer a month ago. My previous dryer had all the bells and whistles. I wanted something simple and hopefully not need repairs. The end of cycle tone on this dryer sounds like the emergency warning system. I turned it off completely m, you think in this day and age GE could have a pleasant tone. The lint catcher does not catch lint at all. It all gets sucked under it and instead you have to dig down and around to get the lint out. I believe that could be a hazard. I diligently clean out the area.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does well,except it doesn't catch all the Lent,when the door is opened Lent always falls out and the tub is small for a 7.4.

Dry's like a normal dryer. Do not need a degree just to dry our clothes like the last one we got rid of. Does not bake the clothes like the last one from Korea

have been using this electric dryer for about 2 months. instructions on using this dryer could be more informative in manual as my previous dryer was manually time only. clothing seems to take a little longer to dry than my previous dryer.
