Fast!

We came home from vacation with large amounts of laundry. After the second load in my old dryer it decided not to even make a sound. My new GE dryer was delivered this morning and I love it! It is so much FASTER than my old one. We have made a big dent in the large pile of laundry!!

I recently purchased this dryer and it is working great so far. I like the knob configuration (nothing digital) and the selections for different fabrics is fine.

Awesome clothes dryer

Love this dryer! Clothes dry in a short time period (my previous dryer took about 2 hrs to dry a load of clothes). Love all the options & love the signal. Also like that I can open the door from the top of the door. The only thing that I don't care for is that the door doesn't go all the way back & that's because the door is inset into the dryer front, not flush with the side of the machine.

Great Features, Quite but does not heat.

After installing, reading trouble shooting guide in owner's manual, the unit still does not emit any heat. All it does is tumble and blow cold air.

Towels come out dampish on the Optimum setting. Have to put load through a second drying cycle.

Slow to dry

Dries very slow. Have had the vents cleaned out. They were fine and drying time did not improve. I also don’t care for the light that stays on if the door is open. Sometimes I like to leave the door open when I have to leave the house but the clothes are not quite dry and the light stays on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
