I bought this dryer 3 weeks ago and have been very pleased. I love the sensor dry feature. Clothes are always perfectly dried. I have several G.E. appliances (Clothes washer & dishwasher). Not many products are made in the U.S.A. anymore but G.E. products are. Very happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm in love with my dryer!

I just got my washer and dryer yesterday, but boy I'm impressed! These hold an enormous amount of clothes, and gets them clean as a whistle too!
The washer only used a small amount of water compared to the old dinosaurs I was using. I'm so excited that my bills may go down for once.
The dryer gets my clothes dryer faster than the washer gets done! Now, ain't that something? I was using them old dinosaurs again. I had to run it at least two times, sometimes 3.

Poor design ate my clothes!

I've always loved GE and have a new refrigerator that's great but after only 2 uses of this new dryer I had several items with holes. I couldn't figure it out until the second load when a dryer sheet had gotten hung up in the sensor wires! Then I knew why my clothes had pulls and holes. I returned for different dryer. I really liked the features and door opening and hated it had this flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
