GOT A LEMON

Bought a GE washer and dryer. Got the dryer hooked up and it wouldn't start. Called the company we purchased it from and was told we had to return it. Cost us twice the gas to have to return a dryer that wouldn't work. Not to mention the labor of loading and unloading. Had to get help to do that. Took it back and got another one just like the first, and it works.

My (wife) and I have travelled thousands of miles inside and outside of the USA and being a former Marine of 24+ yrs. we have purchased several diff. brands of washers & Dryers due to damage in transfer shipping (Change of Duty-Stations). we,have had to replace several dryers and...washers due to this but, we have found that the GE product has held-up to the standards that are required for hard-handling and always came out, out-lasting other makes. This type of treatment in not normal in the private sector and to last 17 yrs is a pretty nice record. I recently purchased this newer model and although it has not been very much time to give a (so-called description) of its functions this new Dryer is preforming as we have expected and required. Thanks GE. you have gone where the Marines have gone and, survived! Semper-Fi. C.A.S.

The silent dryer

This is the most quiet running dryer I've ever owned! The buzzer to let you know when your clothes are ready is adjustable...fabulous! The close dry so fast and no wrinkles...this is great for someone that irons just about everything....now I don't....freedom! This is now my favorite household appliance that I love to use! Thank you GE!
