Not great quality

The appliance looks good, matching a washer that I already had. But quality is moderate at best. Door has to be slammed to latch, though that might soften over time. Light bulb burned out within a couple of weeks. Timer dial makes scratching noise when turned, as if contacts misaligned; compared to the washer’s dial, which turns smoothly and confidently. The dryer works; hopefully for a long time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My last GE dryer lasted 29 years- no maintenance. The capacity is huge. Clothes dry quickly. I just love it.
