512 GB, fast, reliable, does not take extra space from the case.
Heats up quickly under high loads which means throttled speeds.
Would recommend.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely amazing!

This SSD is like nothing else. It blows away all SATA SSD's in terms of speed. It's also nice that it is small and mounts directly to the motherboard so it is out of the way.
I run 2 of them in a RAID 0 configuration as my boot drive for Windows 10. Waking from sleep and cold boots are extremely fast, like under 3 seconds fast. Hibernation is also really fast. This can be slow on other drives as it takes a while to store the current state of your machine on disk, but with these SSD's it's 5-10 seconds. Write speeds are 3GB/s and read speeds are around 3.5GB/s with 2 of these in RAID 0. And yes, that is gigaBYTES, not bits per second. This is actually approaching the max bandwidth of the DMI link (3.93 GB/s) between the CPU and the chipset. It is mind-blowing how fast these are.
I've always had Samsung SSD's for the past 5 or 6 years and have always considered them to make the best SSD's on the market. The 950 Pro shows that they are still on top and don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
They are on the pricey side of SSD's, but you definitely pay for the performance with these and they are worth the price. They are currently the fastest SSD's in the world!
The only complaint I have with them, and it is more of an annoyance than anything else, as another reviewer stated the labels are upside down compared to the pictures on the site. This means the labels are also upside down once installed on most motherboards.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, blazing fast, small
Cons: label is upside down, pricey

My old desktop I built lasted 10 years and is still running, but it is definitely showing signs of it age. Apps take a while before they open, shutdown and restarts take forever so I decided it was time to re-task it as a home server and to build a new system for everyday use. My new Debian Jessie system now boots in 5 seconds! Even LibreOffice opens in about a 1/3 of a second.
Take the plunge you will not regret it!

Great if you have Windows 8 or 10 and an Intel Z170 board

This this is blazing fast compared to my old Samsung 830 . Depending on how it is set up you can get all of the benchmark speeds, if that's important to you. I am still finding out what works the best with this drive. I turned off Intel Rapid Storage Technology and gained a bit. tried Windows native drivers and it dropped in performance
Pros: fast, small form factor
Cons: pain if you're running windows 7

The [ M.2 950 Pro NVMe 512 GB SSD ] "ROCKS"

Everything about this drive is absolutely amazing! 10 GB per second is truly amazing!!! I personally used this m.2 for my Operating system ( Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit) and everything works perfectly. Please be aware that you must load the driver for this m.2 before Windows will notice it. The driver is located at < http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/SSD/global/html/support/downloads.html >.
~ I had to load my OS onto another Samsung SSD and then Clone it to the m.2 SSD and before that you must set your BIOS to AHCI mode to load your Windows OS onto it. The Samsung cloing software is called Samsung Data Migration software. Also there is an additional program called Software Magician which lets you optimize and safely erase the Old OS after Cloning it to the m.2 drive." Caution the Cloning Software Only works on Samsung SSD's ".
Pros: extremely fast, smaller than a stick of gum!, great samsung optimization software

I am a Huge tech geek and now have a Samsung pro 950 in my 4k Gaming Laptop as well as in my gtx 1080 gaming desktop. these things are amazingly fast. if i could justify the price I would raid 0, but the 960's just came out a few days ago so when the 2TB drives come down a little i will definitely love to grab a few of those for upgrades. SAMSUNG rocks. They are simply the best.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, blazing fast, best for gaming, best for rendering video
Cons: price

Amazing

I had heard that it was about the size of a stick of gum and expected that when I got it. Holding it in the palm of your hand still blew my mind. Couldn't believe this thing was a 512MG SSD! Installation was relatively simple and straightforward. I built a gaming rig and so far I have yet to sit at a load screen. Boots up the Assassin's Creed: Syndicate world in less than 5 seconds. Boots up windows in less than 10 seconds. Didn't know it could be this great. You pay a premium for the tech but if you want the best, you won't be disappointed with this product. Love it.
Pros: Lightweight, fast, small size
Cons: afraid i was going to break it during installation

Excellent, Easy to install and performs as expected

Installed in a Dell XPS8900 using a Wings PX1 adapter.
Came up properly on the first go and then used the Samsung data migration utility to migrate the data. Removed the old drive and the computer booted to the new SSD drive without any issues.
The only confusing part is finding or knowing about the Samsung driver. It worked with the default Windows driver but performance improves slightly with the Samsung driver. (V1.1)
