Galaxy Note 5 - i fully intended to purchase the edge 6 plus but chose this hoping the protection would be better without the edge exposed; i'm still learning all the functionality having used the galaxy s4 for the last 2 years - battery life seems better, less draining with apps running; it looks really sleek and i love the size - so far so good

It's narrower than the note 4, which makes it easier for texting, but the features...I haven't even discovered them all yet. I love that I can change themes on it and make it look completely different on any day.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

The build and quality of this device is very pleasing to the eye. From the smooth crisp screen to how the steel rimmed edges feel. The rigidity of the device is amazing and feels very strong. The sound quality from the earpiece for phone calls is by far the best I have heard in a smartphone. The volume goes beyond other devices in the earpiece speaker. Samsung has also loaded it with Apps that help you through the daily simplicities and difficulties with there software coupled with a fantastic piece of hardware. Using the Spen is delight and well integrated into the app features it uses. The camera's take amazing pictures,.. even with my shaking I get a very clear photo. I have to say that I have had not a issue from day one and look forward to more use and enjoyment! A device made for almost any person and very simple to use.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Love the stylus

The stylus is great. I take notes and don't have to worry about losing a piece of paper.
Pros: Bright display, can read the text
Cons: not too big but just a little big

I have been using Samsung for many years now and would never switch to anything else. Every product that Samsung makes just keeps getting better and better. The Samsung Note 5 is incredible, Great picture quality, durable, easy to use, perfect size. Can't wait to see new products.

I love everything about this phone! It is topossible notch. Extremely good camera quality. Great interface. Really good display, bright, smooth. Great design. I love the stylus and the way it is compact and slides into the phone. The sound is fanominal. Very vivid high resolution colors. All in all, very amazing phone and definitely my favorite phone. I'm very keen to Samsung Galaxy phones durgent to their superior features and quality. I'll be sticking to this line im of smartphones, that is for sure!

Like - hate relationship

I love the performance, display and s pen. But that's about it. I HATE the glass back! , the non expandable storage!! , the small battery!!! And the fact that the IR blaster is removed. I loved the note series ever since the beginning and I had the note 3,4,and now 5. And this is the most disappointed I've ever been with a Samsung phone. And if the note 6 trys as had to COPY the iPhone by removing all the features that made Samsung phones unique then I won't be getting one. I might as well get an IPhone that I don't have to wait almost 1 year for ever update! And Please add the curved screen to the note series!!!!!

Cons: expensive, not durable glass back, not front facing speakers, small battery, none expandable storage, no ir blaster, not sustainable or water resistant, looks too much like an iphone

Coming from an Galaxy S5, and an LG G3 and Galaxy S3 before that, this phone was a nice step up in multiple ways. Beautiful bright screen, snappier fingerprint scanner and touch response, minimal lag, fantastic camera and video, etc. I'm super happy that taking photos and videos at clubs and indoors have greatly improved. I had my doubts about the battery life seeing how it was a bigger phone than I used before, but it definitely exceeded my expectation! And the fast charge is a feature I'm really grateful for. The fact that the Note 5 has built-in wireless charging feature and I don't have to buy extra stuff like I did for my S5 is a plus. The S pen features are something I'm new to, but it's pretty easy to use and intuitive. Touchwiz seems to get better and more aesthetically pleasing with each release. And I tried out Samsung Pay for the first time a couple days ago when I forgot my wallet in my car, and it works really well and surprisingly faster than using my cards.
Personally though, I do think the Note 4 looks better design wise. I'm not a huge fan of the back, which looks quite fragile, but it's not too much of an issue since I always use a case on my phones anyways. The fact that there's no more expandable memory is a step down from my previous phones, but again, not too much of an issue because I bought a small card reader that attaches to the usb port that works well for cheap. I do wish there was an option for an all black color instead of the dark navy blue that is Sapphire Black, or even burgundy too. But overall the Note 5 is a solid phone, and I have no regrets in purchasing this phone!

Cons: back looks fragile, no more built in memory slot or removable back
