Upgraded from Note II

Upgraded primarily because Note II could not use newer cell phone band my provider was using for upgraded service areas.
Originally was concerned about lack of expandable memory.
Had to pay more to get 64GB internal to allow for maps etc I wanted to load on unit.
Can plug in external memory via USB port if I want to view movies etc and charge wirelessly.

Phone is a lot brighter in daylight (usable). A little less bloatware, use sidesync instead of kies et al.

If your goal for your phone is productivity there is no better phone out there. The large screen and stylus create a perfect environment for creativity and just flat out getting things done. I have recommended the Note line to several of my friends and every one of them has nothing but good things today about the device.
Pros: Bright display, beautiful, practical, ergonomic, fast charging
Cons: fragile, no expandable memory, no removable battery

One of the best phones out there, aside from the poor battery life, mics, speakers and occasional laggy performance, the phone is fine. The phone itself is beautiful. Samsung can literally continue using the exact same design with upgraded internals, and I would more then happy.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
Cons: poor battery life., poor speakers., lags., poor microphone, poor cell antenna.

Best Galaxy Note Yet

I've had the Note 2, Note 4 and now the Note 5, and out of the three, the Note 5 is the best. The best new feature is Samsung Pay. The less I can carry around with me, the better. Samsung Pay eliminates the need to carry around a credit card in your wallet and it seems to be a very secure form of payment. I've always loved the size of the Notes and especially like the S Pen for jotting things down or drawing. The speed of apps and battery duration are both excellent on this phone. The camera takes beautiful pictures, so my phone has now replaced my Sony Cybershot camera for picture taking. This is the best cell phone I've ever owned.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

For all the hype around the new, bigger, iPhones their increased screen real estate is largely useless. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a bold statement on how a large screen size can impact functionality. The split screen capability is just the tip of the iceberg.

This Note 5 is absolutely wonderful! It's super fast and has a ton of cool features. I'm still learning new things this phone is capable of. I picked the gold one!

I love my Note 5. Love the S pen and and it's functions. The screen is fantastic, so is the camera. The design is beautiful. Glass front and back. I am very excited for Gear VR. It is missing some things... All things previous models had. A big one for me is the MHL connection(to connect to a TV via HDMI cable). Second is the lack of expandable storage (SD card). Third is the lack of an IR blaster (for universal remote function). That said, it is super fast, with a large ver high definition screen, a nice loud speaker, and a lot of nice touches in the programming.
