Probably the worse phone I've owned

I've had a lot of androids including the s4,s5,note 4,and G3 and this phone was by far the most disappointing constant problems with the play store and extremely poor battery life lost Samsung a very frequent customer the note 4 is a all around better phones and this is coming from someone who is Samsung expert certified and who has been in the wireless industry for a while
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, s pen functionality, fast charge, wireless charging
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor battery life, speaker placement, removal of ir blaster, glass back is a fingerprint magnet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, but miss my note 3
on November 18, 2015

I like the new design, but really wish Verizon had the other color options. I hate the black and that was the only one I could get with the 64GB option. The camera is good but I miss the SD card option from the note 3 so I can't take advantage of taking as many photos as I would like.
I also don't think the battery is good. It dies way too fast!
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall a decent phone

Overall it is a decent phone. It is missing some very much needed items for a business user. The battery life is dismal to say the least, I get a few hours at the most without battery saving mode enabled. Probably 6 hours at best with battery saving enabled. I can get around it with a battery pack but the swappable battery was nice. Having to pay extra for storage is a huge mistake by Samsung, the MicroSD is huge for business users, You could do this without a removable back adding a slot on the side with a reader would probably work just fine. I would gladly forego the glass back for a swappable battery and MicroSD, you could get by with carbon fiber or some other material if you wanted to upgrade the plastic. Don't try to be the iPhone, or iDevice, be your own.
The phone randomly freezes up and reboots itself, it isn't frequently but enough to be a nuisance.
The phone is fast, the upgraded RAM was vitally needed. Display is crisp and clear. Glass material is nice but grabs fingerprints easy and is a bit slick. Feels that it could slip and fall easily causing it to break.
While the phone as nice features and is well built, it is missing some very important things for productivity of business users.
Pros: Bright display, well built
Cons: Did not meet expectations, missing microsd, no removable battery
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stay Away From Samsung horrific Sofware support

Compare to Note 4 the Galaxy Note 5 is a downgrade
Galaxy Note 5 Their metal uni bodies that are covered with Gorilla Glass 4
Galaxy Note 4 look awesome with metal uni body and poly-carbonate back cover for easy access to 2 main feature removable battery and expendable storage 32 GB +up to 128 GB 160GB Winner Note 4
The Galaxy Note 5 features a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display that’s similar to the one used in the Galaxy Note 4 Draw
The new octa-core Exynos 7420 processor is faster, and runs in 64-bit mode to take the full advantage of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Note 5 wins
Thanks to Samsung on not supporting Note 4 and not making enable 64-bit on Note 4 Exynos
As opposed to the previous Note series phablets, RAM has been increased to 4GB
This is a Draw how much memory Touchwiz needs to be stable and smooth when my S3 with 2GB of Ram CM12.1 is smother then my Note 4 and probably the s6 s6+ and note 5 with 4GB of Ram
My Point Note 4 and Note 5 will run with lags compare to AOSP android open source project Rom
because they don’t have all the useless features and all that bloatware putting load on ram memory and CPU I mean KK and Lollipop can rung under 500mb of ram so having 3GB of ram on my Note 4 Why my note 4 only has 0.7GB Ram free all the time
Samsung has decided to remove a microSD card slot in favour of faster UFS 2.0 internal storage that come in two variants; 32GB and 64GB = Note 4 wins
Note 4 expendable storage 32GB +up to 128GB =160GB = Note 4 Wins
Up to 160GB >32GB or 64GB common sense how faster can it be with UFS 2.0 internal storage what a great feature how fast can it go if there software maintenance is horrible and the updates are full of bugs and incomplete
The Galaxy Note 5 features an excellent combo of a 16-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera that was used in the Galaxy S6. Even though the primary camera uses the same sensor that was used in the Galaxy Note 4, there’s a quite improvement in final image and video quality, thanks to better software and F/1.9 aperture. Samsung has thrown in a heart-rate monitor and an IR blaster as well. = draw Note 5 & Note 4 camera on note 4 is perfect i guess it could be as great as Note 5 but thanks to Samsung it wont happen
It runs a newer version of TouchWiz UI running on top of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop =Note 5 wins thanks to Samsung note 4 could be running same version of touch-wiz but no is forbidding
It also features a combination of a touch-based fingerprint scanner and an NFC chip that could be used for transactions through Samsung Pay. Draw leaning to Note 5 but Note 4 finger sensor is not as bad and with android pay on the way and finger print support on android M who needs Samsung Pay and i been using Google wallet i have not need it to wait or be rejected if my phone is rooted
Improved connectivity features include Cat. 6 LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n, and Bluetooth v4.2.
this is only paper spec not real world scenarios and how good could bee if after the first update from Samsung you are gonna get more GPS Signal loss the direction to places your Wifi will have horrific Speed and cellular signal will fall to non thanks to buggy updates yes samsung note 4.4.4 dindt have those issues like it does with 5.0.1 thank you
The battery that’s used in the Galaxy Note 5 is non-removable, and its capacity has been reduced to 3,000 mAh battery. This seems like a downgrade coming from a 3,220 mAh battery that was used in the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 4. To compensate for the lack of a removable battery, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Note 5 with Fast Charge as well as wireless charging.
Note 4 wins
Note 4 Witch is faster having a back up battery the you can switch any time with in 2 minutes on the Note 4 or wait 90 usb charge or 120 wireless charge o wait the note 4 can do that too and the battery can be change for a full charge battery with in 2 minutes i think Samsung thinks we are not all here
beside if by accident a drop my note 4 and it lands on the back theres a big chance my phone will be fine and nothing but some scoffs my get but with a glass chances the it can crack the glass are higher
Cons: feels like a downgrade to note 4 no ir, low memory storage horrible software support no
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Galaxy note 5 compared to note4

I returned the Galaxy note 5 for the following reasons and searched for another note 4 to replace my broken device. Note 5 screen is narrower, prefered the original note 4 bigger screen and readability. Also there is no slot for external storage card. Not having the ability to store on an external card is huge design flaw. The LCD broke within a month on the Note 4 even though it was in a quality case. The phone worked but with the screen not working, could not use the phone.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had a crack within 10 days and always had a case on it. Some notifications don't ring so people think you're ignoring them. Seems to me Samsung missed on the two key parts of a phone durability and reliability. Plus it doesnt even have a sd card slot. I would rather have an iPhone over this phone and android lovers know that's a pretty big deal. Will be going back to an HTC m9 on Monday. That's the best phone I have owned as far as reliability and durability.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
