I've had my note 5 since the release date. It's heavier than the note 4. The design is beautiful, but it's very slippery to hold, which pushes you to buy a cover. I hate covers. They make the phone big and bulky and takes away from the initial design. I was hoping they keep the leather back design.
Battery life is terrible. I would mind it if you could switch out the battery but Samsung remove this feature....which makes user purchase an external battery pack. Who cares if the phone can charge faster if you have to charge it 2-3 times a day.
Now that I have vented....here is the good side.
The phone fits nicer in your hand with the narrower design. Picture quality is amazing. Samsung did a great job with more pen features. Wireless charging is a huge plus.
Pros: pen features | wireless charging
Cons: battery not removeable, slippery cover
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First off, let me start by saying I was concerned about the lack of sd card support and removal of the IR blaster. But realize that those were small necessities I can do without. This phone is beautiful! The slim down bezels makes this phone feel great in the hand, while still keeping the same screen size as the note 4 (although a little slick due to the back glass). The screen is so crisp and vivid. Colors are gorgeous. The new S pen with its push in click to remove is NICE! Battery life is good, comparable to the note 4. Don't let me get started on the camera/video recording...the best there is on a smartphone! I would definitely recommend this phone to my friends and family.
Feels snappier than my last Note 4. Love the new features of the S pen. Love the built-in wireless charging. The battery life is excellent, I can carry a power pack in my brief case for a quick charge if needed, instead of carrying an extra battery like I used to do with the Note 4. I haven't missed the removable memory card yet because I use cloud storage. I never pulled out my memory card out of the Note 4 anyways. I am worried about the glass back. I did hear about it shattering upon minor drops. S now I have a thin TPU cover on it for protection and gripping. All in all I love this new devise Galaxy Note 5. Thank you Samsung, keep up the good work.
Pros: Bright display, speedy, well built, beautifull, nicer s pen, improved touchwiz, excellent power management
Cons: a little heavy, unsure about glass back
I would recommend this to a friend!

Passed getting the note 4 cause I heard the note 5 was coming out. I am very glad that I waited the 3-4 months. Was worth it. Get the Note 5.
