Coming from a Droid Maxx, this is a big phone. No doubt that the phone itself is great, great screen, stylus, blazing fast. Without a bunch of numbers I can assuredly say Web pages load faster, apps are faster, it's just crazy fast in comparison.
Battery life is great, I use my phone for work and I haven't had to worry about the battery. I can talk 2-3 hrs and use 2-3 hrs of acreen on time without a problem and make it thru the day. My battery on the Maxx was dying so getting thru the day without charging was impossible, and that used to be my favorite feature of the phone.
A week into the phone and I'm missing some of the moto software features, the biggest is the active notifications. On the note 5 I see the notifications and can select them, but then I need to unlock the phone and sometimes I go directly to the notifications other times I end up at the home screen. I'm sure I'll figure it out sooner or later but like anything new it takes some getting used to.
Write on pdfs. That is something I purchased the note 5 for and I must say it works great. Now you are able to import a Pdf into snote and write away, or you can use markups within the Adobe app itself. This is well worth it for those of us that deal with contracts or blueprints on a regular basis.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

The note 5 is a gorgeous phone the glass is quite nice though a finger print magnet and very fragile. But it looks so much better than older Samsung phones. The battery life is decent it's better then I thought but not spectacular the great news is does charge quite fast. There screen is to die for its amazing the best I've used really. The s pen is nice don't use it much except for quick note and crosswords where is fun.
The only downside is touch wiz is much better on this then prior phones but honestly just get rid of it it doesn't add much and the memory management is far too aggressive. It's a great device with a few nit picks.
Pros: Bright display, design makes it feel smaller

This phone is a real winner and will meet most needs a busy person will ever have. Awesome feature with the pen, take it out and start making notes without turning phone on. Another winning product and feature by Samsung

The four gigs of RAM, and the octa-core processor make this phone blazing fast. I haven't had to restart it once since I've owned it. I've actually tried to bog it down by running tons of things at once, but it just laughs at me. It's a beast for multi-tasking. Samsung took away a few interface features that I really enjoyed on the Note 4, but they added several great new features. Overall, it's a very good upgrade from the Note 4, and a "no brainer" upgrade from any other phone.

Outstanding feature set and design. Always finding a new and useful feature. Battery life is great for voice but does suffer a bit when using data based features. Very fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a great phone. The 5.7" screen is fantastic! The S-pen works really well and the apps that go with it work great also! There are a multitude of messaging apps that come with this phone, and they are all pretty much the same. Ooh and before I forget, you can call people too haha! There are only two things that i think could be better with this phone.
Firstly, the design is super sexy, slim and sleek with a glass back. The problem with this is that the phone is INCREDIBLY slippery, I mean if you don't put a case on this phone YOU WILL DROP IT!
The second thing is the battery. The Note 5 comes with a smaller battery than the Note 4 and it shows. I work 6:00 to 4:30 so i take my phone off the charger at 5:30 am and I have WiFi at work, only checking my phone at break and a couple times in between, and by the time I get home at 4:45 I'm down to 25% battery. All I can say there is thanks Samsung for fast charging! I pop it on my charger and is charged 100% in an hour and a half.
Overall, this phone is great!

Cons: slippery, battery life
