I love this phone, since I had it i don't remember wanting to get any other phone. The phone gives me great performance never lags never had a problem with anything. Amazing multitasking abilty. Samsung truly made a remarkable product.
The last galaxy phone I had was the s4, since then I have had a few different brands and now back to galaxy with the note5. So glad I'm back, enjoying all the features i grew to love before, but with an added bonus. The S pen. Awesome feature to an already incredible device. I love the fingerprint unlock feature, how fast it switches to the camera with two quick taps, and the size of the phone never leaves me squinting to see anything in any format.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: no front speakers
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I'm on the run, trying to maximize my time, the notes features is that tool thst keeps me running lean and mean. Business ideas, tweeks, and production are managed easly. The convience of the black screen note feature itself makes this just not a cell phone but a valuable business organizer.
This phone is wonderful. I hate the fact that it is at 0% when it is only 4pm. Battery dies quickly, if you can make a better battery then I'll give it 5 stars but until then its 4 stars.
If you are looking to simultaneously use multiple data-consuming apps, for example GPS, Pandora, or Amazon, while moving or travelling (multi tower pinging), while the screen is on constantly, then have a charger nearby. The battery will wear down quickly. I drove for nearly 2hrs, and the battery was nearly sacked 50% after a full charge. Even when I used it for texting, emailing, screen on constantly, for at least 30mins to an hour, the battery life was consumed 30%. I used this phone for 7 days total and I found I had to charge it too much. Comparing it to the battery life in the Note 3, it does not compare favorably. I returned the Note 5 on the 7th day of trial re-activated my beloved Note 3. I do not like being UNable to switch batteries, unable to add an extended battery when away from electricity outlets, or being unable to add an SD card. There's a cloud available but those are not my thing. Only one pre-installed app I noticed didn't work to my liking, or properly - Blocking Mode. It allowed texts messages thru when set not to. The format was not too difficult to get use to. The camera was excellent! Displays beautiful colors, not too much blue - better for your eyes. HD or pixels are NICE! It was not as wide as the Notes 2 and 3 - which was the sole reason for my upgrade and sticking with Galaxy Notes. (I didn't want the Galaxy 5 or 6/plus or edge style.) But with a cover, that idea was moot.
*Battery life not so good in my opinion and for what I needed. If you need a charged phone for multitasking throughout the day, invest in external battery cover. *Still wide as the Note 2 and 3 - matters only if you want to get rid of sore hands (carpal pain) *Some installed apps need to be dug out for use ( ie mobile hotspot) I checked I would not recommend, I can't in good conscience. But I WOULD recommend to others if they don't mind the medium battery life span but need all the bells and whistles on the Note 5. I don't do a lot of recording and video and picture taking or document signing - yes there are bells and whistles galore!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, installed apps photo and video composing, document signing, 100gb cloud storage available
Cons: medium battery life span, unable to add sd cards, unable to add an extended battery, head phone plug is on the bottom near speaker
