Another great phone!

I've had this phone for almost a month, and haven't found anything it doesn't do incredibly well. My previous phone was a Note II, and I really didn't see any reason to change - it was just that good. So, when I finally made the decision to replace it, it just made sense to go with the newer Note. I had NO IDEA what I was missing!
For starters, the display is so crisp! Colors are stunning, very realistic, and brightness far exceeds my need. I rarely have it over 50%, which extends battery life, and just makes me happy to know if I need more brightness, it's there in abundance..
Phone call audio is likewise realistic. As far as the built in speakers, well, they are as good as they can be for their size, and I don't really expect more than they deliver. Using headphones however, the audio is just beautiful.
So many useful improvements and new features show dedication to user experience. I am honestly blown away by all the things this phone has just "thrown in" that make my life better. A flashlight without an intrusive third party app - standard; same for Samsung's easy-to-use keyboard! Brilliant! And fast charging is just a dream come true.
Just between friends, there are only a couple things I think could be better. One is the S-pen that has ejected itself a couple times without my assistance (though, in fairness, it could possibly have been bumped by something while inside my purse). I never had this issue even once with the Note II. The second thing I think could be improved is the selection of notifications and ring tones. This phone's collection is pretty, but can be difficult to distinguish from background noises. The Note II had several that were nice but also stood out from the other noises. (The whistle, for instance.) Both these things are just irritations, and NOT major issues.
The Note 5 is an exceptional device, and I am sure I'll be just as fond of it as I was with my old pal, the Note II. Perhaps my next phone will be the Note 8? Maybe I'll just go ahead and pre-order. ;-)

My Love for the Note has been lost

I have had each release if the Note since the Note II. I have been a super fan till now. The Note 5 is still a decent phone but the battery life and Bluetooth issues are such a frustration that I wish I hadn't upgraded.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, battery life, bluetooth issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Galaxy Note5 is a great devise. It feels good in my hand and is pretty fast. The camera takes great photos and is fast. The only thing that would make the camera better to me is the tap to take pics like the s5 has. The LTE and WIFI antennas are not the best and I loose signal for the first time. The S-pen and the features that go with it are GREAT and still trying to learn all the different things it can do. The battery last for a long trime and charges very fast. The screen? What can I say? It's Samsung. Big beautiful even at half brightness where I like to keep it so the battery lasts longer is still nice to look at. I would definitely recommend the Note5.

The note 5 has everything I was looking for in a new phone. Great display and fast performance. I like the camera. It's easy to use and has manh great editing options. The S pen and it's apps are very useful. Overall, this is a great product.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, looks great and easy to hold for it's size.
Cons: wifi connection is spotty sometimes., i do miss the speakers on my old phone.

I have always had galaxies, and at 1st i was put off by not being about to take the back off. But is really was a none issue after using the phone. The color is great, it responds in a drop of a hat. I have never had a iPhone and i never will. Samsung for life!!!

I thought the galaxy s5 was the best phone I've ever had but the note 5 definitely beats it! Best phone I've owned by far. Fast performance and doesn't everything I need and want it to. Camera is excellent as well.

Samsung pulled no punches when they made the Note 5. One big advantage for me is the themes that can be downloaded from the Galaxy store.. No need to find a launcher or themes in Play Store and fill up your phone memory. Love the big screen, and the camera takes amazing pictures. No need for SD card either!! Even has own stylus pen readily available for taking notes, and you can even write on the screen when you don't have paper available either. AWESOME!!! Recommend to anyone if your in need of a new phone. You won't be disappointed!!!!
