Fastest note yet

This is the third galaxy note phone I have owned (2, 4, 5) and this note is by far the fastest and best looking of the notes I have owned. The design is sleek and refined and is amazingly light for a galaxy note. The s pen (stylus) is more functional and I have nit had to recalibrate once or actually at which is nice as the previous pens were not quite as exact. Of course there is the screen, the amazing camera but that is what has become expected with this series just like the split screen multitasking ability. But there are some changes that nearly made me keep my Note 4 and take this phone back the lack of an SD Memory card slot and the non-removeable back so I could not change batteries out, which has become a slight problem as the battery is good, better than any note so far but during a day off heavy use, it doesn't make it and new I have to find a charger instead of reaching in my pocket or briefcase and throwing a new battery in. The loss of the SD card makes so I have to be careful what apps I have and I have no music on my phone nor movies.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, fast processor, very responsive s pen
Cons: no sd slot, can't change out battery, looks too much like s6
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lots of Good Ideas

I upgraded from the Note 1 to the Note 5. I wasn't blown away. I really do like the progress. The camera is great. The speed is much better. Multitasking is better. Being able to take a note on the lock screen saves a lot of time. I used to think that pencil and paper was better without exception. I also like how dim the screen can be set for nighttime viewing and note taking. The bio-sensors on the back were a pleasant surprise. The voice operation features are both amusing and useful. I do enjoy using the fast charging. Being able to disable bloatware apps is a much needed feature. Thanks for that. I would like access the the music player from the lock screen. But, there is a free app for customizing the lock screen. I am disgusted that I can't alter the time interval for the snooze alarm. Others have posted the same issue. Please update.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display

Loving My Sleek New Note 5
on December 13, 2015

I've been a fan of the Galaxy Note since they first came out, but not one to rush out and purchase the newest one each time do keep in mind that this review is based on upgrading from a Note 2 to the Note 5. I absolutely LOVE the sleek design and the quality of the construction. The phone felt really good in my hands, and the push button feature for the stylus was awesome. I do not miss having to dig out my stylus in order to use it. The camera was a huge upgrade for me from my previous phone, and this one took MUCH better pictures, even in low light situations. I'm a Realtor and I take a ton of pictures and use the camera for both work and personal use, so for me this was huge. It has saved me from having to carry so many things. The battery life and the quick charging feature is great, especially since I use my phone extensively throughout the day. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the menu or the more button is now at the top right corner of the screen. Liked it better at the bottom. I've only had this phone for about 2 weeks, so I haven't tested everything out yet, but overall I'm very happy that I made the upgrade. The phone is extremely responsive and fast, just wish I could talk and surf. That's a HUGE disappointment. I used to be able to do that on my Note 2, and I know it's a network copyright issue so because of that I didn't return the phone. I have no desire to leave my current provider since no one else can touch their rate plan for data use, so I've managed to deal with it for now. I actually wanted the Note edge, but it magically disappeared from the list of offerings...hmmm. That one had better security features. Not sure why they didn't put those security features on the Note 5. If you're looking to upgrade..this is a great phone. Easy to use, good sound quality, incredible pictures, and durable.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: could not talk and surf unless connected to wifi

I'll never switch from samsung

I've had the note 2 phone before and switched up to the note 5 finally. So many cool little features and the performance is great. I use my phone for pretty much everything, both personal and work so I need it to handle a lot. The note 5 definitely does. I wish Samsung it came in a water resistant model...that's my only gripe.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: i was hoping to find a water resistant model
