I lost more than I gained.

Sorry I have to say that I thought when I got the Note 5 that I was upgrading from my Note 2. I wasn't. I found out I lost features that I loved about the note 2 and I ended up with a memory I couldn't as easily transfer or store as safely. I bought the Note 5 first because I thought it would be faster than my Note 2 but it wasn't. It was alot easier for the sales reps to transfer my apps and data to the note 5 but that seems to be the only faster feature I found.. I would have actually transfered back to my note 2 but I already promised it to my brother who is the contract holder for my phone line. After getting the note 5 I realized my Samsung MHL HDMI adapter to my note 2 did not fit the USB port to the note 5. I did find out before I bought the note 5 that most if not all Samsung phones were now going to be without removable memory. I actually enjoyed being able to store my memory on SD chips.. They were small and easy to store. Also I was told I would be able to store data online.. To me thats the most unsafest place I can think of to store data.. Too many hackers, security infiltrations, and data loss online anymore. Also with the Note 5 there seems to be a removal of screen mirroring for streaming video as an option. I have seen that there is mirroring but its not usable to transfer simultaneous video from apps.. I have discovered the health apps and they are a neat addition, and the camera and video seems to be a better quality. I do alot of writing, and the note 2 allowed me to easily store my S Pen writing on sd chips and easily. But on the note 5 I am forced to have to transfer to my PC and then to sdchip via an adapter. That makes things more difficult. I am sad that what I had hoped for was a more functional model. I am keeping the note 5 because I am on a fixed income and it was the best I could afford. I am hoping after my 2 year contract renewal is up, a better and as affordable option is available. Thank you..
Pros: faster transfer moving apps & data to new phone, better sound quality, wireless charging
Cons: Did not meet expectations, non removable memory, usb port uncompatible with mhl adapters of earlie, s pen smaller and harder to hold than earlier mode, wireless charge won't work well with a prot. case
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whos better then Samsung? Noone, whose better than samsung, noone! I have a samsung 3d 4k tv. A Samsung Galaxy Note tablet. And now i have a Samsung Galaxy Note phone. I started out with the first samsung galaxy s and have had a Samsung phone ever since. There is none better for tech, service etc. Samsung stands behind there brand.

After previously having the Note 4, i upgraded to the Note 5. The phone is faster and still easy to use. I also love having the wireless charging pad that I got for it.
