I've been using another product for awhile before switching to a Samsung Note5. I've had experience with other similar OS devices as well. But when I switched to a Samsung Note5 for the advertised multitasking and organizational benefits this phone offers... it was nothing short of a multitasker's dream ride. It's very smoothe, easy user interface, not complicated but easily finely customizable to fit your day to day motions. The S.Pen is astonishingly accurate and feels very natural. The dual app split screen feature is also an amazing ability. The processor and GPU easily handles even the most demanding mobile device functions. The phone and it's actual HUB/UI is totally customizable using the Theme feature to make changes that are designed by companies and there a huge selection to choose from for making the phone very pleasing to look at for long term users such as myself. It's larger than other phones but not so much that finding places to store on your person isn't an issue. I love this phone. Camera and rwsolution also among tue very best. The only concerneed I have is the Voice command software needs work. Other than that, a very solid phone that any user could highly benefit from.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight, cpu and multitasking, very organizationally oriented, highly customizable, s.pen! amazing!
Cons: voice recognition software needs work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great everything but the pen housing

I could not wait until the Note 5 was released. Over the years, I went from iPhone 3G to Galaxy S2 to Galaxy S4 to finally the Galaxy Note 5. The screen size and clarity are amazing; the stylus is extremely accurate and useful; and I am more productive with this phone. The battery life is finally impressive and lasts the entire day for me with heavy use and recharging wirelessly is under 2 hours. The only negative is that I've had problems with the stylus housing. It seems this is the first Note that has experienced so many widespread issues, but I'm sure Samsung will fix this in later versions.
Easily best phone my hands have ever held. When it comes to phones I've been like a door knob every model has had its turn and yet satisfaction was something I never received until my note 5 came into my life. My wife gets jealous because of the relationship my note 5 and I have with one another.
The fludity and functions of the phone are everything I expected from Samsung. I especially love the pen to take quick notes and reminders. The quality of the camera and video is out of this world and I have all the aps I could possibly need. And for when you actually use the phone as a phone, the 'extra volume' feature is nice. And I love the big screen! I won't go back to smaller screen. GREAT PHONE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable

Samsung Galaxy Note5 Phone is Amazing but...

I love the Samsung Galaxy Note5 phone. It is way ahead of the other popular phones on the features that it offers, such as LOWER radiation exposure to users, a cover that shields half of the phone to reduce electro-magnetic exposure, using thumb print to start the phone, easy turn-off of power when you are in a poor cell signal area (which increases your radiation exposure), There is only one complaint I have about the phone and I hope that the research scientists working on improving this product will do something about it. The phone is very clumsy in typing Chinese. China has the largest population in the world and many Chinese raised and living outside of China are able to read, write and communicate in Chinese daily like I do. Samsung is losing this market by the way their Chinese keyboard is set up. (1) No Chinese that I know of type the Traditional Complex Chinese characters using the bo-po-mo-fo phonetic system! You do that when you write in Korean or Vietnamese languages, but not withe Chinese languages! The bo-po-mo-fo phonetic system was what we used to learn to read complex characters, but it is not used when we want to "talk" or write in Chinese! (2) Many Chinese can read and write in both Traditional Complex Chinese characters and the Simplified "modern" Chinese characters by just using the PINYIN system of transcription. But with the Samsung phone, I am forced to output only simplified characters if I use the Pinyin-based keyboard. And I am forced to use the mo-po-mo-fo system if I want to do complex characters--extremely laborious and not worth using at all! I cannot use PINYIN to type in complex Chinese characters! (3) The Samsung phone developers clearly were not connecting with Chinese Pinyin and dictionary experts because even their pinyin system is terribly dumb and inefficient. For example, if you had gone to a Chinese language class and learned the pinyin system, you would have learned that under the pinyin system, it is not necessary to be "monosyllabic." To illustrate, "because" in English would be typed as "YinWei" in the Samsung transcription system. But in the real pinyin system you learn in language classes, it would just be "Yinwei." There is no need to stress that you have two words in "because." Instead of "GongXiFaCai" ("Happy New Year" greeting in Cantonese/Mandarin), which is what the Samsung keyboard will display, you can type "Gongxifacai" in Pinyin and still be understood! (4) There are certain combination of words (phrases) that occur more commonly than others. The Samsung keyboard is extremely rigid, and does not keep track of the frequency with which the user uses certain phrases. So, the position of the characters are fixed on the Samsung keyboard no matter how many times you are using that phrase. With another cell phone brand that is used by Chinese a lot more around the world, the more common combination of words (phrases) will appear first, so you don't have to scroll down and hunt for the characters, AND the more frequently used strings of characters by the user (whether they are businessman, or real estate professionals for example) will always appear EARLIER so you can spot the phrase right away and not have to scroll all over to look for the combination of words. (5) The Samsung keyboard does not allow you to be bilingual in one sentence, but many multi-language speakers in fact do interject English words into Chinese sentences, or mix words from languages (especially if they want to tell a joke). On the Samsung phone, I would have to switch to an English keyboard in the middle of a Chinese communication, in order to type a few English words (for which there may be no suitable Chinese words), and then switch the keyboard back to Chinese keyboard again to finish my thought. Extremely time consuming. The most important reason I switched out of a famous brand cell phone that types Chinese easily is because they disregard the importance of electromagnetic exposures to human health. Samsung addressed this issue up front and would have outpaced their competitors if they had paid attention to the way they made their Chinese keyboard. The Chinese dictionary and pinyin experts have a SYSTEM that already existed and still exists, which is able to predict the next word that is likely to be combined with the first word you type. So, if I type "Yin", it will show me "wei" in the first position on the keyboard. It is guessing that my next word will be "Yinwei." One might think it could be "Yinyang" but in daily speech, people use Yinwei more frequently than Yinyang. So, the Chinese keyboard "moves" or adjusts to the users habitual use of words. It is not a fixed rigid keyboard the way the developers of the Samsung invented their keyboard. Samsung needs to send researchers to China and learn the pinyin system, and meet with the experts of Chinese pinyin dictionary developers if they want to be the number 1 cell phone company in the world.
When I first purchased this Samsung back in February, I was a little bit skeptical about going with Samsung. But since I purchased it it has exceeded any and every phone I owned previous to it. I am using the voice recognition software to write this review and the process is basically flawless. I especially like the battery power that it provides and since I've owned it it has yet to deplete an entire battery. The note portion of the device is extremely helpful and convenient. I was at a recruiting event for my new job and the entire time I use the Samsung Note to basically conduct my orientation notes. I managed to get a couple of nods of jealousy from some surrounding colleagues. Since then I use my Samsung Note for all business functions and files. My new Samsung Note embodies consummate professionalism and it makes my professional career that much more credible and impressive. I can't imagine myself ever going back to one of those toys I used to own before. Thank you for enhancing my career and life.
Pros: Inexpensive, s pen feature is remarkably efficient and effectiv

My iPhone owning friends are envious of my Note 5. The photos are fantastic and the multi-tasking makes my life easier. The size is perfect for reading e-books. I recommend this to anyone that wants the best of a phone and a tablet.
Great Shortcuts and convenience features ! Didn't have any time to shop as I broke my S5 and had to get something right away ! So glad I accidentally upgraded !
