The phone will be perfect once some glitches are worked out. When on the phone it sounds like someone is pressing buttons in my ear. Took it in several times no one could figure out. Called a couple times aND same no help. Fix that and the phone will be a 5 star.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: dialing in my ear while on oboe
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great device, but falls down due to outdated control over OS updates.

I have only had this device for a few weeks, and I have to say I really like most everything about it. My major complaint is that the OS ecosystem is still controlled completely by the carriers, which prevents me from being able to take advantage of many of the hardware features such as the fingerprint reader. Don't get me wrong, where Samsung is involved and utilizes the fingerprint reader, I'm completely happy. The problem lies in the fact that, because of the the OS version, many apps can't take advantage of the fingerprint reader causing me to key in passwords for banking and password keeper applications. While this is a minor inconvenience I agree, also owning the major competitors device really highlight how cumbersome and antiquated it make this device feel. On it's own it's a great device, and the hardware and stylus are fantastic in everyway, but it still just feels about 4 years older than it should and that is primarily due to the current OS limitations and lack of carrier update control by Samsung and the OS manufacturer.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, battery life, os and hardware integration
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't know why I waited so long to upgrade! The stunning display alone is worth it! Compared to my old GN5, it's like night and day! With the even larger display, everything appears crystal clear and vibrant. I'm still learning all the new functions but that makes the phone fun! Cheers to my new Galaxy Note 5!
I recently upgraded my S5 to a Note 5 and even though the S5 was a fantastic phone, the Note 5 is even better. Firstly rye design is gorgeous. Sleek and smooth and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The screen is crystal clear and the colors pop brilliantly. Using the device is great due to the speed and fluid use of it. It recently got an update to Marshmallow which is flawless on the phone. I've yet to see a single bit of lag or slow down. The camera is fantastic. Auto mode takes really clear and sharp picture with great color. However using Pro mode can yield even better results when dealing with low light situations. Audio is clear and loud. Music plays at a nice volume and with plenty of clarity. I was unsure if I would use the S Pen before getting the device. However I found myself using it a lot thanks it its versitiliy. Overall this is an amazing device that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
I love this device. My husband and I recently upgraded. He upgraded to an iPhone 6s plus. I only buy Samsung and doubted it once I saw his but NO MORE. This phone is super fast, awesome features, light weight, and allows you to multi task with ease!
I just upgraded from the Galaxy 5, and I was amazed at how much faster and better the phones get each year. I love the design, processing speed is amazing, and the charging... MY GOD THE CHARGING!! I used to carry around 3 extra batteries for the S5 just cuz i ran out of juice so much, now half an hour with the quick charger and BOOM, I`m good for another 3 hours of constant use. Fully charged, easy 7-8 hours. And dont even get me started on the stylus! Notes, drawings, no fingerprints.... ohhhhhh baby....... yesssssss..... I love it.
