It's been all I could hope for. Easy to clean and maintain. i ordered this online and because the specs were perfect my son was able to install himself.

I bought this 6 months ago to replace the original GE cooktop that came with the house when it was built - 54 years ago! I'm still getting used to the jump forward in technology, but I'd say this one is working as advertised. Dare I hope it will last as long?

It is easier to clean than a standard stove. The black surface is gorgeous but tends to streak on cleaning. It is slick so pushing pots around is something that should be done cautiously. You cannot use cast iron on it so I had to give up some frying pans.

I've been enjoying the flexability of the dual sized burners and the rapid boil feature. Easy to operate. Heats very quickly.

No more white ?!

When I ordered my cooktop I was disappointed to hear that GE was discontinuing
the white. The local warehouse only had 2 available. Not everyone wants to have
a large black rectangle on a whitish counter.
