Six years, and I still love these speakers

I bought these years ago.. I still really like these speakers. I have them paired with a Pioneer SX-850. I've had other older speakers (Ohm, Advent ect) paired with this receiver and I always find myself using the 301's anyway.. Something about the way they sound. Audio is always situational, but I find for most instances these speakers are perfect. They've held up very well, considering the amount of time they spent with me while attending college.

Still Kickin

Purchased my Bose 301 speaker set in 1993 while on active duty military. These speakers are still kickin just like new. Bose will have a hard time exceeding the performance of the 301 series

Incredible wearability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reading so of these reviews bc I though maybe I should replace my older 301’s bc the well maybe they were wearing down as well as my age depicts that I am also. BUT, it occurred to me I’ve had them for forty, yes forty years....bought them while stationed in Korea. They sound great, look well worn a bit but darn what do you expect for that length of time? I complemented them 201’s 30 odd years ago, so pics attached for those doubting the products durability. Think I’ll keep them now.

Outstanding Sound

I bought my 301 series II speakers in '91. They've been paired with a Sony 100w/ch receiver of the era ever since. I've lived in a few different place over time and as long as I've played with the placement some the sound they put out is outstanding. After all these years they're showing their age but the sound is still killer!

Awesome speakers!

I recently bought these to replace a pair of 13 year old bookshelf speakers that came with my home theater system. I've always been amazed at other Bose products that I have known other people to have. These continue to blow me away. I'm using them without a sub, and they really rock. The lows, mids, and highs are all very impressive. I especially love the spacious sound field. You cannot go wrong with these.

I own an Onkyo receiver 7.5 but my speakers got sold because it was from a previous Onkyo receiver so I went to the store and bought me this speakers with just 2 of them i have like a a surround theater system :D
