Would not play, I bought this as a gift for my wife. I have had several Blu-Rays as of late that were like this. I bought this on sale and it isn't worth the hassle of returning it.
What's great about it: Movie is good
What's not so great: Defective will not play
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unique approach to finding love here, where Josh Hartnett agrees to abstain from certain activities for 40 days for a bet. Of course, this is when he is tempted most. Very funny, would recommend this movie to any teenager and up!
What's great about it: Unique Love Story, very funny
What's not so great: a little unrealistic at times
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good romance comedy. The story line is humorous and interesting. The movie also has an element of suspense which is interesting (whether or not he will last the 40 days).
This is a "chick flick" that most guys will actually like.
What's great about it: good plot, good humor
What's not so great: romance story takes away from the comedy
I would recommend this to a friend!

40 Days and 40 Nights stars Josh Hartnett who makes a pact with himself to give up something he's addicted to for 40 days. His friends find out and have formed a pool and are now trying to make him cave and things get even worse when he meets the perfect girl and his personal pact interferes with their relationship. This movie is similar to American Pie even though the story is completely opposite. The humor in this movie is much more subtle than the American Pie series but I still think it's a very funny movie.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Its a cheap movie but great entertainment
What's not so great: Older movie so it's not raved about anymore
