Haven't not got to print with it.. because the cartridges are reading errors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm sorry that you didn't have a very satisfying experience with the cartridge. I can understand if you are frustrated.
It is hard to guess what the problem is without knowing the errors being displayed. However, if it appears that the poor performance is due to a defective cartridge, please return it. The return and exchange process is covered, step-by-step, at: store.hp.com/us/en/cv/returnsandexchanges
Just previous to inserting this ink into my printer, I inserted new red and yellow ink. Right after I changed the black, my printer told me the yellow ink was defective and needed to be replaced, so I replaced an almost new unit. I don't see the point of buying genuine HP ink if this happens.
After trying an off brand cartridge because it was cheaper, my printer didn't work well, had poor resolution and the colors were completely off. I purchased the HP ink and it was instantly back to high quality and true colors.
