[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Useless purchase - the printer heads plugged up and even new ink didn't clean them. No way for user to clean heads themselves - stupid design for a printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Bob,
I can understand if you are disappointed, but the cartridge is not at fault. It is only designed to deliver the ink to the printer systems.
When the printhead inkjets are clogged. There is a cleaning routine available from the printer's menu that you can use to clear them out. The routine might need to be run more than once to clean out the clogs completely.
It is important to always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the printhead is protected from excessive drying which leads to it clogging.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this (now obsolete) black cartridge as part of an order for a full set of new ink cartridges for a recommendation to fix my printer error. When these did not solve my issue, I have a full set of new and now useless ink cartridges and still no operating printer after spending extra money and hours of troubleshooting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
