This is not a smart phone, but a very good value. I did not want a smart phone, but something that looked like and acted like a smart phone without the expensive data plan. With this phone I can easily access email, apps, VZ navigator, in short many of the things a smart phone can do.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good phone. I like it and would recommend it. I just wish the main menu had more color options, and that you could select the menu instead of having it right there. I just makes the phone look cluttered.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: not enought menu color options, menu not selectable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you make automobile bluetooth calls you can not end the calls with normal automobile phone disconnect. Either the party you called must hang up and phone will time out or you must select end call on the phone itself. Not good or safe for handsfree usage. Otherwise it is a good phone.

Cons: Did not meet expectations

However it is not made for everyone. While it does a lot of things right it also has some obviously bad issues. For example while the touch screen itself functions very well the locking system that protects the screen can be a nuisance. It can be activated very easily to the point were it seems to go off in your pocket constantly. This is because of the poor decision to make the main menu the home screen. This can be a major pain for anyone used to normal phones. This causes a massive lack in customization.The camera could be better its visuals are very low. Now this phone is one of the best for those who want a very good phone that is not a smart phone it has a lot of features such as a opera browser installed. It is also capable of downloading basic apps. It also has a very good text base with a large keyboard and call quality is perfect. Yet once again looming issues cause a decrease in value another example is the screen itself is not protected well while its okay to not have gorilla glass it seems the overall screen can break very easily compared to other touch screen phones. Overall it is best used as
a phone between phones like a rebound the features may help you over look some problems but not all. I personally would not recommend it. . It is not for everyone and think carefully before buying it. If you can overlook the looming flaws maybe its for you but not for most. .

Worst Phone Ever

I got this Phone with a new plan.
This phone randomly dials while sitting on the counter while charging.
(It's fun when the Police bang on your door at 3 am because your phone dialed 911 on it's own.)
You are unable to answer a call without the phone disconnecting it as the touch screen is so sensitive it receives a signal through a leather belt holster that came with the phone.
When messaging the phone regularly types the message into the send to side so your recipient gets a blank text.
Ear speaker too quiet even with volume at maximum, and the proximity sensor is weak so your cheek touching the screen ends the call.
This phone is too thin so it is difficult for large hands to hold.
There seems to be no way to increase all font sizes.
The camera zoom does not work.
You cannot zoom in on pictures taken.
Just if there were a phone that only would call and text, that would make me happy.

Not bad, but....

Day to day the phone is fine. The only issue we have encountered it is callers complaining of their voice echoing back to them. Verizon said it was a known issue & replaced the phone. I wish there were more customizations for the UI, but its a basic phone so...

If you need a phone that has an alarm or calendar reminder that will work- this is NOT the phone to get. I have a diabetic cat and he needs shots 2 times a day. I kept missing the time because the alarm did not go off. Got a second phone and it has the same problem.
I will say they worked fine for maybe 2 weeks, then stopped.
Cons: alarm/calendar
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
