Bang for the buck

I'm not a tech wizard so I didn't need to buy a expensive tablet. This device does everything I need and the cost was good. Short battery life.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: short battery life

Great for school

Instead of buying a laptop i wanted a tablet. I seen the galaxy tab 4 10.1 and i loved it. It has a writing document just like microsoft but even better! It works great and im more than happy for buying it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight

I am so glad I chose this tablet. Still learning but so far I love it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, free dropbox space
Cons: camera not that great

The screen size is ample for vision challenged people & the tablet comes with some fine features to assist in this area if needed.
Due to the tablet's size, I'd recommend the use of some sort of stand or support feature. Prolonged use of the tablet in any position accept flat will cause hand, finger strain & fatigue. The back side of the tablet is smooth & slick, compounding control issues of the tablet.
In the flat usage position, the tablet screen viewing and brightness falls off, causing one to acquire a hunched over position.
Due to the tablet's size, I'd recommend the use of some sort of stand or support feature. Prolonged use of the tablet in any position accept flat will cause hand, finger strain & fatigue. The back side of the tablet is smooth & slick, compounding control issues of the tablet.
In the flat usage position, the tablet screen viewing and brightness falls off, causing one to acquire a hunched over position.
The tablet is packed with some useful & pretty straightforward applications. Minimal bloatware installed using up the internal storage & most applications can be deleted if unwanted.
Android has hundreds of alternate apps available to suit individual needs.
The main usability drawback is with Kitkat 4.4 severely limiting SD card use.

Great little tablet!

So, I love Samsung's Galaxy line (I own several Galaxy phones, a Galaxy tablet, and have recommended Galaxy products to others) and *for the most part* this tablet did not disappoint.
Pros:
I absolutely LOVE being able to set up multiple users on this tablet. Such a nice feature when you share a household tablet.
Beautiful screen/graphics - both in size and picture quality

Cons:
The only thing I did NOT LIKE about this tablet was the inability to display video from the tablet screen on my non-Samsung TV. I purchased and tested a half-dozen different adapters, and couldn't get a single one to work. I spent HOURS searching the net for options, without finding any individual that was able to make it work. Sadly, my Tab 4 went back to the store as this was really the only reason I wanted an upgrade from my Tab 2.

great value substitute for the over hyped iPad

I love it but the wife and kids don't which means the app store lacks not the tablet.
my only concern is I have to reset the time and date all the time.

This product runs Great with just one inconvenience

This tablet is great. Its performance is outstanding and it has great features. The one problem I have with this tablet is the placement of the home button and the back button which is located at the bottom of the tablet. This is an inconvenience to use because every time you want to press those buttons you have to stop and adjust the tablets position in your hand just to press the button. I like how it is with my Samsung galaxy note 10.1 better because it displays those buttons right where your fingers would be. You don't have to adjust your hands with the note. So I think this tablet is overall a great tablet. I just think they need to go back to the old design for the buttons.
