This antenna is great, picks up local channels well, and was reasonably priced. The old "rabbit ears" design is a little lame, but other antennas with low profile designs cost quite a bit more. I stuck it behind my tv so you can't see it anyway, and it still does the job.

I live in the Lincoln Square area of Chicago. I previously had a $30 amplified antenna from Radioshack that worked perfectly, but when I moved the towers must have been in a different direction or something and I was getting a miserable signal no matter how much I fiddled with the antenna. After trying several other amplified/"more powerful" antennas, I figured why not try it, it's cheap enough, and it worked. The reception isn't perfect and I had to mess with the placement/direction of the antenna for about half an hour, but when all was said and done it was the best antenna I could find without spending $100 and it was $12 with price match.
Works for my needs.
What's great about it: Good reception, low price
What's not so great: not perfect
I would recommend this to a friend!

When Time Warner had the blackouts this summer I needed an antenna so I could still watch my favorite shows on TV. Luckily Best Buy and Time Warner were offering free antennas and since this wouldn't cost me anything I went with this model.
It does its' job very well and doesn't require too much adjustment of the antennas or the ring to pick up a signal. Only advice I offer is to make sure you place it near a window to get the best possible signal.
