When I bought this HD antenna, I was not expecting much since it only cost me $20. But when I connected the antenna, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the reception. I live about 30 miles from the where the major TV network stations are located and I am getting a pretty good HD reception.

The antenna hooks up easily to your antenna port. You are able to adjust the knob to fine tune vhf/uhf channels along with freely adjusting the 2 antennas. Good deal for those that want over-the-air TV for free.

Picked up more channels than I expected it to for the price. Will be upgrading to a multi directional antenna as they are smaller and easier to use, the long antenna make it clumsy and takes up too much space. Didn't realize it from the picture on the box, but you have to pull out the antenna ends, It's like a trip to the past when this is the way all households received their tv signal and just like in the past, you have to mess around with it to get certain channels. Worth the extra money not to have to do that. So would not recommend this one unless the extra 10 bucks is a real issue for you.

This antenna is pretty decent for the price. In my area of west burbs of chicago, I am able to receive

From what i've read fine tuning any lower digit channels is very finicky and picky, higher digit channels are much easier to receive.
I'm able to get channel 5 very clear, but 2 has not been successful even after hours of fine tuning.
Most channels that come in are very clear and also have dolby digital sound if that channel is pushing it.
Overall, its a good buy for the price, are there better antenna out there? Yeah, definitely... but for way more $.
What's great about it: receives hd over the air tv
What's not so great: very finicky, and requires alot of time to fine tune
I would recommend this to a friend!
