Pretty much needed an antenna to pick up some regular tv channels, cable bill got too expensive so I had to cut it off but there's some really decent channels I never knew exsisted thanks to the antenna

What's great about it: Paying under $15 bucks versus a monthly cable bill, you do the math.
What's not so great: Not the greatest reception if your by an airport

The upside: this antenna provides a great picture when combined with a HDtv
The downside: not all available channels come in consistently or at all (but that may be a problem with the antenna reception where my house is located)

You need to buy an antenna for your area to get good reception. The only problem is when there is bad weather they don't come in clear. But great to get free local channels in.
