Well, I read enough reviews about this product before buying it, because seldom it is the case where people say the truth about a product in this country. I read that many people where happy about this product and that they received up 30 channels in HD. Well, when I installed the product, it gave me 8 channels, and I thought that the low number of channels is probably due to the location, Gainesville, FL. Well, the last couple of weeks, the reception went from average to poor and I only can get one channel "create". I strongly recommend to ask a friend about the channels that can be received before buying this or similar products. Probably if you pay a bit more, you can get a higher quality.

Great basic antenna

I had bought one of these antennas for myself a few years ago and loved it so I bought another one for my mother in law. The dail helps to fine tune the stations so setup is fairly easy. They suggest that you find the sweet spot before you setup your tv and I agree with that advise
I would recommend this to a friend!

I brought this and was expecting it to get some channels if not all.
I attached it to my TV, easy to do.
But after i scanned the tv for channels, it received 2.
And the 2 that was found, 1 was so blurry and the other one was normal.
This just isn't a good enough antenna.
Even though this antenna is cheap, i still don't think this piece of equipment is worth 10.99+tax.
I'm going to return it and get the other RCA one that have a higher review.
If you are planning to buy one of these, i sugguest you don't.
What's great about it: Easy to Setup
What's not so great: Doesn't receive most channels. Hard to adjust to get a signal
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent antenna

I purchased one of these antennas about 4 years ago and I ended up not needing it so I gave it to a friend. She says it works just fine. I recently had to pick up another antenna to replace the one I gave away and I had no problem purchasing the same model by RCA. They aren't exactly the "LG" of brand names but the antenna does a decent job for only $14.99.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good For Suburbs

I live about 10 miles from all of the major broadcast stations just outside of Pittsburgh (so lots of hills/mountains to interfere). I just got a new HD tv and haven't had time to run the necessary cable lines to the TV, so in the mean time I picked up this inexpensive antenna (I can't not watch my new TV). All of the digital and HD channels are crystal clear with very few issues. There are rare occasions where there is a small 'hicup' but it seems very comparable to what I have seen at friends houses with cable. The picture is very sharp and sound is also good.
The reason for 4 starts and not 5 is simply because if you want this for analog TV, then I would not recommend this. I cannot pick up a single station with it that would be suitable to watch.
Overall, I am very happy with it and it will suit my needs for a few weeks until I can get my cabling installed.
What's great about it: Price, HD signal and digital
What's not so great: Analog signal
I would recommend this to a friend!

It took 2 minutes to setup and start viewing the channels immediately on my HDTV....clarity is great ! I cudn't believe that it is so crystal clear channels
What's great about it: Easy to set up and catches more than expected channels
What's not so great: Cant ask more compared to price
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Reception for the Money

I tried 3 different indoor antennas for my Axion 7" LCD TV which is located in the kitchen. This was the only one that received all the major stations in my area. However it took me over 30 minutes of adjustments to position the antenna properly. My kitchen is in the center of the house and not near any windows. Tuning digital stations is very different that tuning analog stations. With digital a very slight movement with the antenna can cause you to receive the dreaded "NO SIGNAL" message. But patience does prevail. The ANT-121 model is well constructed and is worth the additional $5 over the cheaper ANT-111 model which is very flimsy.
What's great about it: Great Price & Quality, No Assembly, Easy Setup, Good Reception
What's not so great: Tuning Digital Stations is a Chore
I would recommend this to a friend!

You Get What You Pay For

This antenna picked up way more digital channels compared to my old rabbit ears, but it did not pick up as many channels as I was expecting. Moving the "fine tune knob" loses your valuable signal in many cases and trying to find a position for the antenna to get signal is a tedious task(even in front of a window!). I have to change the antenna position every time I change channels (I was expecting it though). The farthest station it can pick up is about 40 miles away in Greensboro. It would make a decent antenna if all your stations are within a short distance (25-30 miles). I have no plans on returning this product, it didn't meet my expectation, but it got near it! I am about 80% satisfied.
What's great about it: Ease Of Installation & Price
What's not so great: Adjusting to find reception
I would recommend this to a friend!
