[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop replaced a well worn 4 burner cooktop we had. However, the 5th burner is just a warming spot. Overall, it seems to perform well. My only complaint is that the controls are quite slower to react than I'd expect. When pressing power, sometimes it doesn't turn on unless you press just in the right spot. I think it's a matter of just getting used to the controls. We love not having the knobs as are old cooktop had. It's so much easier to clean. But, the knobs did turn it on quickly. The dual burner in front is nice and overall, it seems like a good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since there is no knobs on the cook top, it is very easy to clean. Easy to adjust the heating power, by touching. Heats fast. I have been cooking with it everyday for the last two weeks. Only one time I had trouble turning it on in the morning. May be my fingers were not warm enough. I had to play with it for a couple of minutes before I had it turned on.

Already broken !

My cooktop manufactures October 2017 and only installed for initial use in June 2018 is already broken!
Touch panel is unresponsive and it may cost over $400 to repair!
My previous non-LG cooktop in my prior home went 20 years without a problem.

I love this cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this cooktop for close to 4 years and I absolutely love it! I love having no knobs, it makes it so easy to clean and it has a very sleek look in my kitchen. The cooktop surface has held up well over the years and still looks brand new. At first I wasn’t sure about all the white specks on the top (I thought I wanted a plain black finish), but now I realize that it actually hides some of the dirt and streaks when I haven’t had a chance to clean it yet. It’s really easy to clean too since I can just wipe it without any knobs getting in the way. And, of course, it cooks great. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. My only complaint is that with the front right burner, which can be used as a single or dual burner, you have to hit the sensor once for single and twice for dual. I can sometimes forget to hit it twice and then I’m wondering why it’s taking so long to cook. Other than that I love it as much today as when I got it 4 years ago.

Like controls, but don’t trust install width

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the user interface and burner/control layout. Note the unit is about 1/16th of an inch wider than its specifications. This required grinding out granite countertop to fit in our case. Also recommend noting the model/serial number of the unit before installed as it will be hidden once installed. Otherwise great so far in our 3-week ownership.

Don't spend your money on this Product

My kitchen was remodeled in November 2019 and I bought all the LG appliances, it was a brand that I liked, but it turned out to be of very poor quality, this cooktop started making a sound a while ago, and to turn it off we had to turn off the power from the main box of the house and it was later removed on other occasions the power buttons did not respond either and we had to turn off the main current again, we hired an electrician and he told us that all the kitchen facilities were fine, we continued with these problems until last week that the kitchen started with the sound and all the lights on do not turn off and nothing responds, we called a non-LG technician and he does not know what he has, when we read the reviews many people are experiencing the same thing The dishwasher also started with a very similar sound and it does not respond until you turn off the power, my recommendation DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS.

Great Cooktop

Love our new LG cooktop. The child lock is so important to us and the speed of the heating elements is terrific. Cleaning is a breeze compared to old coil/drip pan on my old cooktop and I love the almost infinite settings I get on each burner. No more lo, med, high... makes it so convenient to get just the right temperature. The warmer is a nice feature, and it is on every burner as well. Nice Quality, we're very happy.

Sleek no-knob appearance

Child lock & warm zone very good, flat (no knob) is good looking and nice for movement and cleaning. Wish the ceramic top was more durable. Runs hotter than old unit, good heat distribution.
