Main Controller Board failed after 1 1/2 years.

Purchased this product because of the reviews it received. However after only having it for 1 1/2 years, the main controller board has failed and the washer will not drain. have to purchase new main controller board, which is almost have the cost of what I paid originally for the washer. If you choose to purchase this product make sure you have an extended warranty that will last at least 3 years.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Still getting use to it

First HE washer to own and it's taking me a while to get use to it. Lessons learned from the first 2 months is choose loads of similar weight to wash, mixing t- shirts with towels will result in balance error. Use less soap depending of size of load and add water to the fabric softener. I use heavier soiled option to feel clothes are getting cleaned else they just kind of swish around. Clothes have come out clean and I have loaded it up with what use to take me two loads in my old washer. The spinning and shaking at the start to balance the load makes me worry about mechanical failure in the future but so far I'm happy.

We love our LG washer. Tons of room and very efficient. Best washer I have owned. I love the washer selections. The best feature is the load sensing that measures the sizes and add the correct amount of water preventing wasting water and electricity.

LOVE IT

I really love my new LG HE top load washing maching. My only complaint is that there is not a preset "Delicate" cycle. The tune that plays when the load is finshed thrills my daughter and annoys my husband. Overall, well worth the price.

I can not believe how quiet it is

We purchased this unit a few days ago. We have done a number of loads and we are very happy so far. The unit is very, very quiet. It did a very nice job on cleaning a king size comforter. We have down a huge load of towels (bath and beach combined) and it did a great job. We really like the different options that we have tried so far.

I've had my new washer about 3 1/2 weeks now and I am very impressed. It operates so smoothly and quietly. I wish it was on my main floor instead of in my basement
It does take a little getting used to because I was so used to my old top loader, but I don't think it's anything I can't work through.
I did see a good suggestion...that you be sure to have a decent surge protector, not only on the washer, but your dryer as well, in the event of a surge in a storm. These new appliances are computer operated and it's a cheap level of protection

A great washer!

I loved this machine from the first time I saw it. I reviewed Consumer Reports before purchasing it and it has not disappointed. It is built like a rock and is very stylish with the space age control panel. I am able to customize my cycles with temps and spin preferences.
