This washer is amazing. It determines if the load is balanced, how much water is needed, and everything necessary to ensure the best and most efficient results.

Enjoy the extra capacity compared to the front loader we were using. Much easier to load and unload. Like the fact that it doesn't "eat" small articles of clothing like the front loader. Clothes do seem to wrinkle a bit more though.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Cycles take too long - NOT and energy saver

I've had this washer 3 months and its pretty bad. At least 50% of the time I have to rebalance the load. The machine tries to do it automatically but all it does is drain, refill, and seems to get stuck. I never do laundry unless I am home otherwise when I get home, more often than not the machine has an error and the wash cycle isn't finished. The water temperature doesnt work right. Warm is NOT warm. The water should be about 100 degrees and its about 60. Neither the warm or eco-warm works, only hot and cold wash works.
Pros: Performance, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brilliant design

I've had this LG washing machine since October, 2013. I love how quiet it is. I love how much water is spun out of the clothes on the Extra High spin speed. The dryer almost takes no time now. The coldwash option is very good. I wash darks and colors in cold, and this cycle gets everything clean. I like the customizable settings (I can use "extra water" for loads that are very large). The detergent and softener dispensers are very easy to clean. I've noticed a reduction in the water bill with this washer. It just sips water. The waveforce idea is great for heavy things like comforters - I can see through the glass lid what's happening. It gently spins and shoots water into the comforter without being too harsh on it. All in all, I'm VERY happy with my LG.

Washes well, very quiet, lots of features

Washes very well,and uses very little water. This machine is very quiet too. Has lots of features but haven't used all of them yet. Does seem to get off balance a lot, but otherwise no complaints.

Love the product, but not the problem

Was working fine, easy to operate, three months ago noticed water leaking under the machine around the hose area. Undone the clamp and put the hose back, still leaked. Moved the washer a little further out to make sure there were no kinks in the hose. Yesterday the hose blew and water went through out my garage including soapy water. I have been communicating with the company, and told to call the 1-800 number. This should never had happened with quality work man ship. NOT good. If it is not covered under warranty, I would not recommend this machine to any one and give it a poor rating. In fact I will give it a fair rating. I do like how easy it is to operate as it thinks for itself.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
