[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in Sept 2019, sometimes it won't turn on. Have tried diagnosing with the app, it won't. Previous washer was an LG lasted 10 yrs with absolutely no issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worse Washer ever Owned

We purchased this washer a number of years ago and after only a few years it was faulty. This washer goes off balance every 5 minutes towards the end of a load and can take up to 5 hours to complete a cycle. We have had people come out to fix the machine 3 times, and I’m still writing this review while standing over the machine to finish a load by stopping and starting it every few minutes. Worst purchase ever, and will not purchase LG washer ever again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Out of Balance far too much

Very disappointed with the product. With any load of towels or linens it gets out of balance. No matter how carefully I place the items in the tub. I have to adjust them multiple times during the cycle because it get;s out of balance. Pulling wet towels and sheets out to readjust is a real pain.

Seems to wash good, instructions are horrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this washer for three weeks. It seems to wash good. It is louder then I thought it would be. The instructions are horrible! I had to watch videos on how to turn off the chimes and download the app. The app is not friendly, it is hard to install and you have to have a phone to use additional cycles. There is no tub light. It is nice to have an agitator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like most, I bought this to replace a 20 yr old washer. We have been very satisfied so far after 2-3 months. We have used it often and for many different size and types of loads. The good; nice features, settings nice lines, looks nice and modern. The great; the agitator, the wifi connection to the LG app. The soft close glass lid. So washers went from agitators that really clean dirty loads to flat bottom drums and less water to save a lot of resources. But many have not been satisfied. I think of this as sort of a hybrid with the best of both worlds. This new system moves the drum not just the agitator to be easier on clothes but still be able to provide a cleaner load. It uses smart tech to only fill to what's needed yet you can override and add more water or fill to top. This is very versatile. The tech is amazing, you pick a load type, hit start and the machine slowly starts to run down calculations of size, weight and proceeds to start adding water and turning the drum at precise points eventually going into a regular type wash cycle. We thought it had issues the first time.
The capacity is great, big blankets and bedding cycle work no problem. Big loads little light loads, everything is great. Also love this connects to the LQ app reminding when your load is done as well as other features. Overall this is not your old machine, that was built like a tank. Thinner metal, lots of plastic, will it last as long? All I can say is from what washers and dryers are today, this is the best overall value I could find. I think it beats front loaders in cost and operation and beats old fashioned agitators by a lot. BTW we just bought another set for my adult daughter with a newborn and loves everything this can do as well.
