Very efficient, quiet and very dependable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so impressed with the technology used to diagnose an issue with my washing machine. This is the first time since 2013 I have had to use this feature. My washer was operating perfectly, the issue was I had put too many towels in one load so the washer was off balance. I will be more careful in the future to check the load I am washing.

Nothing but troubles with this washer

The washer slips when reversing direction because of a bad clutch bearing. I took it apart and applied grease and swapped the plastic bits, but it's still failing.
An additional problem is the unbalanced load issue, which seems to kick in whenever you do towels or jeans. It really should result in a product recall, as everyone with this washer has that problem.
Finally, the washer has problems with mold smell, with the manual actually saying to do an empty bleach load every couple weeks. Who wants that?
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet, fast and efficient!

It does a great job very quickly it seems and does not make a lot of noise. It has great features without too much techno stuff everyday users wouldn’t need or use. Good job LG.

Too many electronic features that do not work prop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd Dryer in a 2 month time frame. Similar issue with the first dryer. It worked for a week then the heat setting no longer worked and/or intermittently works. Only cool air , no heat. Hookup correct and duct from dryer to outside clear of any obstruction. I would not recommend this dryer as there are just too many electronic options increasing risk of things going wrong. Since this is the second new dryer with sillier issue in 2 mo time frame I cannot recommend this dryer

A dryer that is not heating maybe caused by 3 separate issues. Due to the design of electric dryers it is possible for a circuit problem to occur and it will allow the electric dryer to run without heat. I would check the circuit breaker or fuse to rule this issue out. If this is a gas powered unit, you want to confirm that the house gas shutoff and the dryer gas shutoff valves are fully open. Even if gas is not supplied to the dryer, it will run and display an error code. Also you want to verify that other gas appliances in the home are working normally. Lastly, and the most likely reason is that the Energy Saver is selected. This option reduces energy usage by adding an air dry section to the beginning of the cycle. It is normal to feel no heat with this mode on. Horrible washer wave force too liad

Lint residue on clothes after wash cycle. There doesn’t seem to be a lint trap or pump filter on the unit

You are correct Amay, there is not lint filter on our washer, but there is a lint filter on our dryers. Fluff in washers are caused by a build up of lint in parts of unit. Performing regular tub cleanings and running your washing machine on an empty cycle with a cup of white vinegar or preferred tub cleaner will help remove lint form the nooks and crannies of your washer. ^Jennifer

getting it back and running

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have owned the washer dryer set for 9 years..7 of nine all worked fine. Now a 375 dollar spend has hopefully corrected the bouncing and walking due to two of the four shocks..the tech from Family Appliance was very helpfull and knowledgeable...says we ideally should be good for maybe another 4 to 7 years use. We use it for a 4 loads a week is all.
