Worst washing machine I have ever owned. It takes way to long to cycle. It takes nothing for this machine to become unbalanced.

Learned to deal with issues

We have owned this washer for about 7 years and for 7 years we have dealt with uneven loads for about 75% of our washes. We have also replaced the drain pump 3 times and now, the latest issue is that at the 12/13 minute mark in the wash cycle, the rinse spray will not stop and runs continuously throughout the remainder of the spin cycle. So, now we have to watch the wash at this exact point and then shut the water supply off and then turn it back on for the spin cycle to finish it's job and spin the clothes dry.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was great for about 3 years...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first couple years of having this machine were amazing. We loved being able to wash our comforter in it. It worked for all sorts of sizes of laundry. We saved for so long to buy it and the matching dryer. After about 3 years the rust started showing up around the bleach tray. It got worse and worse till dis let one day rust colored water started coming out with the bleach and ruined my towels. I sanded and cleaned as much of the rust away as possible and primed and sealed the area. It just keeps coming back. The machine loves to get off balance at least once a week and not it’s squeaking and squealing every load. It’s so load that we can’t do loads at night before bed anymore because it keeps the entire house awake. I want to take this thing out back and put it out of its misery. This was our first try of LG appliances and likely our last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it new 6 years ago. I really like the idea of the machine, but the drain hose was too thin and split and leaked a year into it. My husband replaced. The area around where you pour the bleach has rusted out. I love the large drum because I can wash large spreads, blankets, etc at home. I was just lucky my husband could fix the washing machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] although machine seems to be an great product it is extremely noisy with loud clicking and banging which is a distraction. The fact its is smart technology and can monitor from smartphone I don't see the need for that feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG asked for review of washer I purchased 8 years ago. However I had to replace it about a year ago. It leaked from bleach dispenser 2 years before that and we couldn’t use dispenser after that. Then it made a terrible high pitched squeak noise and repairman said transmission and it doesn’t pay to fix. Since we thought it would break at an inconvenient time we replaced it.
