We have had many washers and dryers over the years..We cannot say how pleased we are with this purchase. We are both 88 years old and still live in our own home and having such wonderful appliances as these is a pleasure and a real plus for us. They are easy to operate and actually my wife loves to do the wash. She actually does a load a day just because she enjoys using these appliances so much. They are so easy to operate that even I as a male can do the wash with ease. I am a world war II vet and this was something I was not used to doing but can say now it is fun for me as well.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

Really gets clothes clean

works great, love it, does large loads. but can't get enough water to fill with out stopping and holding *rinse button for 3 sec. after 10 min of running. Really need a tech to set up after delivery.

I like the large selection of features/wash settings on this washer however, I have found that it is not as gentle on clothes as I was led to believe. I really like the large capacity size which can easily handle comforters. Overall I am satisfied with this washer.

After 43 years of marriage I have owned several washers and dryers, this is absolutley the best ever. The tub on the washer is so deep I can wash more clothes at one time saving water and time. It is so large I have to have a stool to get clothes from the bottom of washer. It is very quite and I love the little musical notes it plays when the wash load ends. I would recommend this machine to any one. If they have a large family or a small family this is a great duo.

Great machine, Just missing some features

I really like this machine. It is easy to use, it cleans well and the clothes come out smelling great. It is also really energy efficient and uses hardly any water. I wish it had a better feature for using fabric softener and didn't add so much time to the load. I also wish that the gentle cycle was truly gentle. One other drawback is that once the washing cycle has began you cannot stop it to add anything without starting it all over again. Overall this is a great washing machine.

So Many Choices!

I must admit, I was a little nervous to start using my new LG washer, but I studied the manual and made highlight marks everywhere. :) It took a little getting used to (with all the choices you have), but now after using my new washer for almost 3 months I can say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my new LG washer! CR didn't steer me wrong! Love the little tune too at the end of each cycle. :)

WT5070CW by LG is the best! It is quiet, efficient, and holds a large load. I especially love the lid that slowly closes. I will never buy any other brand!
