The Best Washer I have ever owned!

This is the absolute Best Washing Machine I ever purchased, I have owned alot of washers with 4 children, and with the large amount of Laundry I do this washer does it the best, I love all the features, the larger load sizes, and the clothes are so clean when I take the out, my husband asked if I switched fabric softener because after a week of sitting in his drawer the clothes smell wonderful, I have never experienced this before in a washer. The clothes are just cleaner and it is noticeable! I am so very happy with this purchase, I am saving time with this washer, by not doing as many loads! Thanks LG, you have done it again!

Really love my new washer!

I have had my new washer just over a month now and have settled in on a few of the settings that work great for me. BUT there is more adventure left since I still have more buttons to push. So different from my old style toploader that lasted 28 years. The tub on this washer is huge, it uses less water, but still gets the clothes clean. I now wash bigger loads, so less loads to do. Hoping for another 28 years. Thanks LG.

I bought this washer on February 23rd 2013, After receiving it I was a little intimidated having never owned an "HE" washer, now 3 months later I love it. The machine is quiet, adjusts to any type of load, has more options than I've been able to use! Great machine, I would recommend this to anymore buying a washing machine!

We chose it because of its high scores on CR. We bought it when we saw a sale. We love it so far because it really performs very well. Clean clothes, lots of options and "hardly know its there" operation. Perfect for second floor laundries where you want as little vibration and noise as possible. All you need to do is follow the directions about loading.
If it lasts as well as it works, then I'll be a very happy customer.
One thing to note if you are new to these direct drive washers. It can spin the clothes soooo dry that you need to get them out pretty quick or the wrinkles will set . much faster than an old style top loader.

A Mistake For Me

Purchased it for washing comforter and queen size sheets; that part is ok. The problems are any smaller loads are so wrinkled and the programmed cycles take forever. This may work for a huge family, but for the two of us it is a waste of time and money. I wish I could sell it.

Very quiet but very effective with all the options

Have had the 5070W washer for just 4 months. My wife likes it so much she is washing about every other day! So we have only had two or three really big loads. It has some of the limitations associated with ALL of the new 21st century agitator-less, top-load appliances ... like leaving some types of fabric twisted under some conditions ... but there are over-ride "allowances" for load level, water level and balance (think creatively "out of the box" and experiment) that minimize the most common problems. We're very pleased with our early experience and looking forward to many years of happy laundering ahead!

It's ok

I wanted a large tub machine so I could do comforters and bigger loads. When I do large loads of laundry, the clothes get all tangled up together...literally. I haven't really noticed that my clothes are any cleaner than with my old washer. I find myself doing smaller loads to avoid the tangled mess. With that being said, it's okay otherwise. But the main reason I purchased this machine was because the large capacity offered (4.7)...
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
