A model that works

WT5070 is much better than the WT4870 that we returned….twice. Both 4870s used way too much water.
Uses very little water but, cleans well.
It does make a few weird noises that could probably be engineered out but they are acceptable.
I like being able to look at the load through the glass lid.
If you have it installed, make sure they properly level the machine.

I really love my new washer although I haven't figured out everything it can do. After having read the user's manual several times, it's still seems much more than I actually will ever use. But it's nice to know I have all the bells and whistles in case I need them. Keep in mind if you buy this product, you are buying a computer, so remember to plug into a surge protector. You don't want to take any chances. I do like the balance sensing feature. No knocking around like with the older less sophisticated models.

I LOVE this washer! The clothes come out so clean. I have had no issues with this washer. When I first bought it i did have problems with the unbalanced load but after figuring out what cant be washed together I have had no problems since. I highly recommend this washer and also the dryer that goes with it :)

I have had this washer for almost 2 months now. It is great. My clothes are coming out clean and smelling fresh.

I have truly enjoyed my LG washer. I can tell such a difference in our clothes now that we have a quality washer. It has many great features I never imagined. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a washer.

Can't be used to do all household laundry

This machine can't be used to wash water-repellent mattress pads nor bath mats. It's hard to believe a manufacturer would expect anyone who has just purchased a brand new washer to have to go to a laundromat on a regular basis. Had I known, I wouldn't have even considered buying this machine.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleans well

I like this washer's big tub capacity and it spins a lot of the water out of the clothes prior to drying, however I do not like that it doesn't put much water in for the wash cycle even when I push the add extra water button. Barely enough to wet the clothes and it doesn't seem to agitate well when there's not enough water in it; therefore the clothes do not get as clean as I would like.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have enjoyed this washer. It is does a great job on cleaning, adjusted to use only the water needed, and has a variety of settings for quickwash and soak when needed.
A round of vinegar through the bleach funnel on a tub wash cycle helps address the issues that arise with the buildup that seems to be typical with HE washers.
