Terrible!

Purchased this washer in 2013. Almost immediately, we needed to have it serviced because wash cycles were lasting almost 3 hours. Technician said the filter needed to be replaced. Worked for a while, but even with replacing the filter, the washer takes FOREVER to finish a load. We've just suffered through it, but a couple of years, but now the washer just stops mid-cycle 2 to 3 times, and requires one to re-start it. Dreadful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washer off balance

I have this washer for over a year now, and mostly have no complaints until I have to wash a heavy load of bedding. I bought this washer because of the capacity however even with one queen size cotton blanket, i get an error message right at 13 minutes before the end of cycle. This is quite frustrating because I purchased a large washer to be able to handle our bedding.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings

Hate this thing

It doesn't get clothes clean. Easy stains don't come out. After a cycle I can blot with a towel and get stains off myself. So it's clearly an issue of the machine leaving clothes dirty. Also the cycles are way too long. The timer on it isnt accurate enough to call it an estimated time.

My unit is 3 years old. I have had 2 major part failures. Too many plastic parts in the drive system. Not a heavy duty machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product in 2014. In less than 2 years I have had it repaired 4x. Clothes do not come clean unless you wash it in the longer settings. Goes off balance without the loads being large. Gets moldy inside just like the front loaders. It has never been a quiet machine so to read reviews that the machine is quite no way it is not. This will be the last LG appliance I will ever buy. With a family of 5 there is no time to be waiting for the repair company & then waiting another 1-2 weeks for parts. I'm starting to think I have a lemon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago. Was told how efficient it was. It does not clean my clothes, takes 1 hour to not clean them and also I have to have a pair of long tongs to reach the socks in the bottom of the washer that must have been designed by a 6'4" man that never tried to get clothes from the washer....so disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this washer at first, had issues with machine going off balance, called for service through ABC warehouse warrenty that I paid extra for, had to have electric board replaced and was told it had a recall on it but I had never received a notice of the recall even though I registered it, I also asked if they could do something about the bleach cup that has rusted around the area, they said no, it is getting worse and rust like residue has gotten into the wash, its 4. years old and this problem started 2 years ago and getting worse, LG should backup their product and ABC warehouse should come through on their extra protection that was paid for
