Worse washer I have ever owned!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned for about 4 yrs now. After about 1 1/2 - 2 yrs washer started taking 3 hrs to complete the wash cycle. Should have only taken 45 min./The washer kept on trying to re-balance itself which means filling up with more water. I thought this was a high efficiency washer! I kept on rebalancing the load myself to try and prevent this. Still took 3 hrs. Now stops filling up with water and the lines are not clogged.
Now looking into it after being so frustrated find it is discountiued! Wonder why???
What about the people who paid a premium price for an item that should last longer than 2 yrs!!
Will not buy and LG washer again!

Worse Washing machine ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was off balance the first day it arrived and has been off balance every day since, every load of wash stops with the clothes are tied up so when you pick up one piece all the clothes are in one bundle, I don't have a choice on water level so you get one inch of water to do a large load of clothes and I have to add buckets of water to get enough water to do the load and you have to unlock the washer to put any thing in. I have told every person I come into contact with don't buy this washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stay away from this washer. I have had mine for 3 years. Worst washer I have ever had. 6 months after I purchased it they had to replace the tub. Now I get a UE code on just about every load. Instead of flashing the code and stopping the machine resets itself and will go through the rinse and spin cycle over and over. So much for water conservation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 years after I bough the washer the bleach dispenser rusted completely, my husband tried to repair so I could continue using it, did not work.
Machine continued rusting and leaking from the bottom.
The inside spinner tanker than started to get very loose and making noise and bringing the cycle to an error.
I continued using the washer because repair wasn't affordable and the rust all lover the dispenser containers did not look good. I don't think I'll buy another LG.

very fussy and quits adding water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] takes several repeated trys to get water enough to squish the clothes down into it & sometimes it never will. this is even with only about a quarter of the tub of clothes & water, so it's not overloaded. this is certainly NOT a set-and -forget machine - I can spend up to about an hour just trying to get the clothes pushed down into the water.
also, the hottest water setting is lukewarm at best.
this is a very frustrating machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’ve tried every setting, extra rinse etc.. and still, we have this on going issue. Yes, we use very little detergent and different detergents. We will not buy another one. Unless by some miracle we find a solution.

Water wasting machine

This washing machine is NOT energy efficient at all. Wastes large amounts of water when it is out of balance. It will refill the entire tub and attempt to spin twice before it alarms to let you know it's out of balance. The wash cycles are not at all effective. When washing a load, it does not add enough water to allow the clothes to agitate. Therefore our three sons' clothes rarely come out clean. My water bill has increased an average of $12/ month since owning this machine.
