[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this after much research. Wanted it to work. Quite often had uneven (Ue) loads that took twice as long to complete wash. Followed directions to avoid the Ue loads. A high nimber of the loads of wash would need adjusting one or more times. Had to adjust 5 or more times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Rusted everywhere!

I bought this washer a few years ago and it is horribly rusted!! There is “ rust dust” that gets everywhere and I wipe it up and it just reappears. I’ll ever buy an LG again.

Rusted, leaking, counter board went out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our washer just short of 9 years. In your seven, we had to replace the computer board as the washer just kept resetting itself. I thought this was the end of the problem until I noticed that he kept leaking. Now over the last 2 months, the weekend has been persistent. This unit lasted just shy of 9 years. Very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The great debate remains top or side load for the win?! I love the ease of a top loader despite not having a cute counter on top. This LG is simple and the smart diagnostics is fantastic.The only downside side is its sensitivity to the weight of the load is almost too sensitive and sometimes during the spin cycle it will stop and make me rearrange some things. I need to do a deep dive on why it is doing this. It is probably a fault in my understanding of it. But fair to share this small and occasional issue that is mostly rare. Otherwise it has been a great machine for us for several years with many great customizable features.

Cannot open washer..lid locks

If I have forgotten a item to wash, I have to wait until lid unlocks to open or shut off washer & start over. I hate this. No need to lock lid at all. Also no real gentle wash for items that are delicate. Have to do those items by hand. I like an agitator. Give a better wash. Nothing good about my new LG washer. Al my new LG dryer not good. It twists up clothing, making them wrinkle. I wish I did not leave my old 15 year old waher & dryer at my old home.

So disappointed! This washer is awful!

This machine was in the house we bought, so we didn't necessarily buy it. It just came with the house. I thought it was a good machine at first. It worked well, until it started having a ton of problems and ultimately just stopped working. I would put a load in, and it would get stuck right when the washing cycle is about to start. It didn't allow you to push any buttons, so I had to unplug the machine and replug it to turn it on, and run a rinse and spin cycle to get it to drain. Then the unplug / replug stopped working and it just doesn't turn on anymore and all of my clothes are stuck in the washing machine with a tub full of water and the lid is locked with no way of opening it. I do not recommend buying LG products. They have seemingly cool features, but they don't last long!

Worst machine ever!!!
