looks pretty

This machine is rusting from the inside out! It spins out of control and has mold all around the drum .
It was beautiful , but give it a year ! Even if you leave the lid open it still rusts and molds . Not what I want for my family. I just looked under the fabric softener holder and could not believe the black mold build up.
The Today show ran an episode about these and other washing machines making people sick from the mold and this is definitely one of them ! Never again

A $900 Mistake

The machine has a no spin cycle which I do like because I do wash a lot of cashmere sweaters and jeans. The no spin cycle works really well for this purpose. However, the machine has no center agitator and the clothes do not come out clean. It weighs the clothes so there is always too little water. The clothes come out so wrinkled and twisted around each other that I have to spend time untwisting them before putting them in the dryer. This creates a lot of wear and tear on any items. Also, there are SO many settings that it is impossible to re-set if you want to change something. You essentially have to start the whole process over. I am so sorry I bought this machine.

Owned this machine 2 years and 7 months. Bought new in 2012 for the current list price. Good features but constantly out of balance. At times, had to stop the wash cycle to avoid damage to adjacent paired LG dryer which still works fine.
No longer have to worry about the unbalanced issue - washer went dead this week. LG's technician just quoted more than the list price to fix it. Oops - didn't buy the extended warranty
This machine will be picked up and recycled when the new washer we bought today is delivered

Horrible product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washing machine is without question the absolute worst consumer product we have ever owned. Loads routinely take 2 or more hours to complete regardless of the mix (or quantity) of items in the load as the washer spends endless time (and energy and water) attempting to self correct what it determines to be an unbalanced load. We are lucky if 1 in 10 loads complete in normal cycle time. Again, regardless of what is in the load. Do not consider this product EVER...even if refurbished. Even if free!

Straight Up Awful - Cannot Rate 0 Stars

I don’t know what kind of person created this washer, but it was probably made by someone who is easily not qualified. I’ve had this washer for about 5 years and 95% of the time, it is unpleasant to deal with. It becomes unbalanced every time my family uses it. We have done every trick and hack to prevent this but it still does not work. In fact, every single time I’ve done laundry since the beginning of quarantine in March, it has yet to wash ONCE without an issue. Whoever designed this washer should never be involved in the creation of anything ever again, including ideas. I’ve never experienced so many problems with a washer in my life. If I could lift this washer up, I would chuck it out my window. Don’t purchase this washer because you’ll end up having to wash each article of clothing by hand after each wash because the washer fails to complete the wash process which leads to skin irritation. This is the worst product my family has ever invested in. There’s a reason this garbage product was discontinued.

I hate this machine

I have had this washer for about 3 years. I initially loved it. There was a recall on the washer several months after we purchased it. We had it fixed. It has UE error's on every load. No matter the size of the load, it will have an error. It will wash the same load for hours if I don't stand over the machine and stop it. This machine is not efficient in that the machine will fill up multiple times in an attempt to balance itself. I have moved the clothes around and tried to balance them but soon after it starts spinning it will have an error again. I am now to the point where I stand over the machine when it finishes the rinse cycle and starts to spin. As soon as it stops and starts to refill with water, I just turn it off and put the clothes in the dryer. This is causing my dryer to have to run twice as long as well, but the washing machine will keep filling for hours if you don't stop it.

I returned this product.

I was not happy with this product and actually sent it back, because there was a sticker on the washer when it was delivered that said "do not wash waterproof items in machine." Since I have quite a few waterproof items, this seemed ridiculous to me and no one could give me a logical reason why I couldn't, so I exchanged it for another brand.

I would not buy this product again

The user should determine the load size because this machine does not use enough water to cover the clothes. If you need more water you have to wait to set it for extra water after the cycle starts. Are you really saving water when you have to set it for more water all the time?
The wash cycle spends more time balancing than actually washing.
The cotton/normal & heavy duty cycles only spray a little water on the clothes and then immediately drains the water without agitating the clothes in water.
The machine "looks" nice, but really needs a re-make to make it into a real washer.
It seems like the only actual washing goes on in the permanent press cycle.
