i am very dissappointed in this machine

First: : It does not clean well, it leaves dirt piled up in the middle of the load, even when I add the extra water option
Second: It may use less water but the wash time averages about 1 full hour compared to a 25 minute cycle on a traditional machine. I do not consider that High-Efficient. That adds substantially to the electric bill.
Third: You cannot manually set any cycle.
Overall it is very pretty and very expensive and yes, it has a cute chime, but I want clean laundry and this machine doesn't perform that task. I bought the matching dryer too and the dry sensor stops the operation before some things are dry. Otherwise the dryer is fine.

Not enough water

The water+ feature doesn't work to provide adequate water to properly wash and rinse clothes. There is no provision to use Oxi-clean powder or liquid.

Great Washer

Very durable. I can wash almost twice the cloths in one load compared to the old one. It is great on delicates and doesn't stretch them out. It also has a lovely tune when the load is finished. Only negative is that the load occasionally becomes unbalanced so it stops washing until someone restarts it and you can't set the load size, the washer plays around at the beginning of each cycle to weight the cloths.
Pros: easy to use, Quality

Worst Washer I have ever bought

No matter what I put in this washer is gets off balance and It is hard to get it balanced. I would not recommend this washer to anyone. I bought it expecting it to be great and it is awful.

Maybe I'm missing what everyone is praising? When
I was doing half a load of towels it becomes unbalanced mid cycle? When I wash warm, some items in my half-loaded tub never get wet? This is advanced technology? I 'm not impressed. Finally got dryer to work properly so maybe now need to focus on washer! Feel I should've kept my 9 yr old commercial washer because this is not nearly what I had expected!

This washer replaced a previous LG that after a recall "fix" went haywire on me. I fought for months for them to get it out of my home. They swapped machines last December. This machine is not for well water because when the machine goes off balance it will fill again to try to self correct and continue to do so. The old one did it for over two hours. How is this efficient? Even for city water it is a huge waste. So I babysit this machine and have to watch every spin beginning to catch it and stop it if it goes off balance. There is no rhyme or reason how much water this machine will use. I can do a light load and it fills to the top. I can put in a large load of towels and it only fills about eight inches worth of water. And I have watched a load wash in that little amount of water and you can't tell me those clothes are clean. I've seen more buoyant items go into spin that weren't even pulled under into the water. That is because I watch the machine. Try it a few times. At least I can add more water but I have to be there to do it. So I've had my children and they are grown and I am not going to babysit a washer. The machine is going come Veteran's Day when I can catch a good sale of another brand. It will probably be a front loader also with a delicate cycle which this machine does not have.

Cycles are extraordinarily long. Washer becomes unbalanced at the drop of a hat. Clothes are not cleaned. Speed cycle leaves tiny holes in clothing after a number of uses. If I could haul this piece of junk to the curb and let someone steal it I would. I have never had such a bad appliance.
