Great investment

Great washer, fits more clothes than my previous washer, my laundry time has cut in half. Love the features especially for my delicate clothes. The amount of money I would spend on dry cleaning....it has cut my cost in half!! Great purchase and definitely a great product.

the load is off balance. It takes several times

We've been quite pleased with this purchase. It is quiet, yet powerful. It has a large capacity, plenty of room for that king-size comforter. The articles come out spun very dry. I don't feel like it runs any longer then my previous washing machines and I love that it has a timer so I know how much time is left. I also like that it has one setting that adds a lot of water, for those times when a load needs a lot. I have felt that the load-sensing is accurate and efficient. I had a top-loader with load-sensing from another brand that was terrible! Never enough water. This one does not have that problem. We've been very pleased.

Makes doing the laundry fun!

My wife and I purchased our LG washer with the intent to improving our lives. We were looking for a washer that was quality built, had a lot of features, and had a sleek design, something that will do a quality job, even on those big loads, like our king size quilt comforter. We were looking for a machine that would do the job, quietly, and efficiently. LG gets an A+ in all of those categories. We highly recommend this product to anyone!

Great Machine

To quote my wife (who is Chinese) - she thinks the washing machine is very good. She likes that she can "see from the top". Also, the contols allow a variety of settings but are easy enough to understand for someone whose native language is not English.
Pros: easy to use

Huge capacity, quiet, spins dry so the clothes dry faster. Love the music at the end.

does not wash heavily soiled clothes well, takes 2 or more washings, also takes twice as long to do laundry, time is money now takes more of my day to do same amount of laundry as old wringer type machine. finish jingle can not be heard from the other room always walking in to check machine and seems be unbalanced frequently. if it takes longer to do one load, and possibly rewash clothes, using more electricity and takes more of my time then i fail to see where high effiency applies.next time will buy wringer style at half the cost and save from the start
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used to hate to do the laundry....it took all day and was boring....then my 19 year old washing machine started leaking and I had to get a new one. Now I really enjoy doing the laundry again! I do fewer loads and can wash the king size comforters....like being able to see what is happening by looking in from the top....oh and the cats find it fun also. Hoping to get the matching dryer in a few months! I would recommend this washer to friends or anyone who asks.
