This is the first new washer I have used in many years. It's quiet and has many features but maybe I haven't figured them all out yet. I would like a way to add more water to the tub and soak things longer. It seems to become unbalanced with heavy loads easily. Harder to get heavily stained sports uniforms clean without a good water level and long soak.

Wash selection automated but also highly customizable if desired - not easy to execute in a product like this. Huge capacity is very nice.

We purchased this washer to replace a Maytag we purchased less than 7 years ago. It performs much better than the old one; it’s quieter, holds more and uses less water. What’s not to love? Of course its longevity will be a key to our future opinion.

We are really happy, clothes are very clean, machine is quiet and is easy to use. Would make this purchase again. Would rate it a 5 star, but have had a problem with the lid not always locking, which means you have to reset it.

This machine is great.I can wash a king size comforter with no problem at all.That's one of these reason I bought it so I would not have to go to the laundry mat with my large linens. It is very spacious you can wash a lot of clothes at one time.Any family that has children should have this washer because you can wash so much at one time. You have the option of extra rinses . It automatically sensors the weight of the load. You have many options to choose from on what and how you want to wash. It is quite also.It rings the towels out well drying time in cut in half so you save on electricity. The machine is well engineered top load washer that fits the day and error we live in now. I feel like it will last me a long time. Thanks LG.

This washing machine is huge! This is the first washer and dryer I've purchased and I bought it online rather than going to the store. I didn't really have any idea about what size would be good, so I went with this one because it had plenty of good reviews. Before, we were doing about four loads a week (We have a 6 month old baby) and now we do one load a week.
I have noticed that a lot of our sons bib stains do not really come out, so definitely presoak before wash. There are a ton of different settings that I haven't yet gotten familiar with that may help with that as well.
Overall, I'm in love with the machine and I'm glad it was my first washer.
Pros: easy to use

I am very pleased with the washer I selected with it's many cycle choices. I also love the fact there is no shaft in the middle of the tub. It holds more and nothing gets tangled like before.
This machine seems to clean my clothes better than my previous washer. But my favorite thing is the music it plays when my clothes are done. It makes me smile every time. I don't mind doing laundry anymore.
