Best in class - any class, all classes.

I own an LG refrigerator so I am familar with this company's emphasis on quality, and that was the primary reason that my wife and I decided to look at LG for our new washer and dryer. We purchased the WT5070CW Washing Machine and the DLEX5170 Dryer on January 16, 2013 and could not be happier. These products represent true quality and outstanding engerineering and design. The motto of the designers and engineers must be "Send out only the best". Both the washer and dryer do a great job, and both machines are super quiet. If you are looking for great products you won't be disappointed with LG.

We went back to a top loader after having another brand's front loading model. We bought this machine after reading great reviews and could not be more pleased. Tons of features, easy to use, but best of all it really cleans. If you are in the market for a washing machine look no further.

Great washer so far

Only issue to date is that it is very easy to get the out of balance error going with towels or bedding. I found that the only fix is to take the wet stuff and drape it out flat in the center of the tub like a tablecloth. Spreading it out around the rim did not work. Otherwise, flawless so far. We like the end of cycle song by the way. Machine is SO QUIET..that was main reason to replace old washer.

Washer does a great job. Super Spin cycle, clothes are very dry at completion of cycle. The unit is a bit louder than I anticipated but I will sacrifice for the ease of use and the results that the machine delivers.

LOVE this washing machine!

I have had this machine for 2 months and love it. I do fewer loads of laundry with this new machine so I spend less time in the laundry room which is always a great thing! I have had to change the way that I think about laundry instead of just throwing everything in. I am more careful sorting clothes on type and heaviness of fabric. I have only had one experience where the machine has not liked what I put in and would not finish the cycle until I repositioned the clothing. It was totally a user error and what I put in the machine. With this much technology it should be obvious that you can't treat laundry like we did with our old agitating machines. I have even washed my sons hockey gear and it came out smelling so clean! I have always liked doing laundry and now it is actually fun! Like many reviews, I love the chime at the end of the cycle!

I love this machine and I would recommend it to a friend.
The main thing to me is that it is excellent in water use. We have a septic system and before I was limited to how much wash I could do in one day. It holds so much more than my old machine, it's really quiet and I love the little chime to let me know when it's done.

Love my new washer!

I love the large capacity of this washer. The ability to put small and large items in without worrying about things getting caught or lost is nice. (Our old front loader we had to use laundry bags for kids socks or they would get sucked through the system) The efficiency is a big plus with a large family. The various features are easy to use and work well. The only thing I haven't gotten used to is that I don't set the water level~ but that is another thing this machine does for you! My only complaint is the noise it can make....our laundry is in the kitchen with an open concept so the sound does carry. Our old machine was very quiet so in comparison I would suspect that the sound this LG makes is normal vs our old quiet model. I would definetely buy again.
