A ton of features!

I had a front loading washer for the last 10-12 years and although it worked I couldn't stand the moldy smell any longer. I bought the LG after researching washers and I am so pleased. Our clothes no longer have that musty odor Nd they are definitely brighter. I was amazed at how large the washing drum was- This really lets me put all the big items in one load. There are more features and wash combinations then I need but it is nice to know I have options! Clothes are white, bright, and fresh now! Oh, and I actually like the little 'tune' the washer plays when the cycle ends!
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings

Washer is amazing first load was 7 pairs of jeans, it did not get off balance at all. The only problem is I am 5" and the bottom is hard to reach. This washer is replacing a 20 year old machine and is amazing. Just sorry we waited so long to get a new one.

Large Capacity, manywrinkles

This washer really cleans a large amount of clothes in each load. I have done some pretty big loads and they always come out clean. I am extremely disappointed however with how wrinkled everything is. Doesn't matter if I am doing small loads or large loads or what spin speed I choose, the clothes come out extremely wrinkled. I like to dry certain items on the line instead of in the dryer and this is impossible unless I want to have to iron everything which is not going to happen. I really wish you could turn the drum light on with a button instead of only when the door opens and for the first few minutes of the cycle. I like to check to make sure all the soap is rinsed out and other things like that, but can't see anything. I paid extra to get a washer with a clear lid so that I can see into it, but without the light it is absolutely pointless and I should have saved that extra money. I also wish it would just stay on the last cycle I used. I really only use 2 or 3 of the many cycles this washer offers, but it is a pain to have to spin through the dial each time. Plus, each click on the wheel does not move the cycle selector one cycle, so you have to click a couple times to move through each cycle.

We replaced a front loading machine and couldn't be happier. Machine is on the first floor and is barely heard. Quality is great, looks great and our laundry is cleaner than ever.

This product has a deep tub that handles bedding, rugs, and still does delicates without problems. It has been one of the best products we have purchased.

After 6 Weeks...

We've had this washer about 6 weeks now, and it is wonderful. The panel looks somewhat daunting, but it's actually very easy. Select what you are washing, and press "Start." We love it. It is very quiet, but makes different noises than our older one. VERY NICE. We love it.

Great washer

We purchased this washer a couple of months ago and we are very pleased with it so far. The washer and manual are very user friendly. The different settings allow us to choose the proper setting for each load. We like that the washer uses less water and that the washer does a great job at getting the majority of the water out of the clothing/items so that the washer doesn't have to run as long.

Major Let Down

It's frustrating beyond belief after spending a bunch of money on a product to learn it doesn't do a good job. This machine was built to conserve energy and save the planet, but it can't even clean clothes. After a camping trip, clothes still smell like campfire and dirt doesn't come out. Simple mud and dirt won't come out! Seriously?! Very disappointed in this purchase and I do not recommend. Stick with the traditional washing machines that had power and actually cleaned clothes. Very frustrating cleaning same clothes multiple times and eventually throwing them out because dirt won't come clean. We have 3 children age 9 and under so we are constantly doing laundry. Since the washing machine doesn't actually clean them, we end up redoing loads and soaking clothes and spraying them and washing them again. Like I said, very disappointing and a major let down!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
